Most of the villagers I like best are low-tier. I guess I just like the uglies. I really love Freckles, I don't know why but I just find her really adorable.
Unfortunately, liking low-tier villagers so much also means having a harder time finding them.

Ed! Ed! Ed! I love the smug personality and he's my favorite color. My friend used to come to my old town (where I had him) and the first thing we'd say was not a greeting, but... ED! Good times, good times.

Deli is cute little guy and thinks of me as his big brother.
I haven't seen Snake that much, but when I did speak to him I thought he was really cute as well.
Knox is a really cool chicken, he's always pinging me about random stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one hosting my birthday party in August. I feel bad that he's not more popular.
Apart from those, I really like Ken, Jeremiah (cool design), Rod, Bonbon, Bree, Olivia and Kiki.

Up to half of my villagers are low tier, and I absolutely love them: Pippy, Flip, Hamphrey, Amelia, and possibly Fuchsia since she is near the bottom of tier 3. The first three and Fuchsia were my starters, too.
