Who are your Alt Characters?

So because yesterday i finally achieved all my dreamies (with the exception of Blanche bc im still not sure if I ant her or Tiffany) Ive decided to create some alt villagers! Just because they add an extra dimension to the game (at least for me) But I dont really know what kinds of character i want so i wrote down some ideas. Here are some little Bios:

Chris: (mayor lol dont count this) Im still not sure what I want to do with him. At first he was supposed to be me but i kind of got away from that. All i know is he got lost in the woods at some point and woke up in this little village? Hence why its called The Unknown. Idk Im considering playing on the peter pan Lost Boy idea BUT IDK YET

okok now for the alts:

Imogen: Imogen would be a little witch girl. (because every forest needs a forest witch, right?) But not the like triangle hat and cauldron kind of witch like the real deal kind of witch. Shes kind of unpredictable and seems to go by her own agenda. She often causes trouble and is a very grey character morally. Shes still young, so it kind of adds to the slight creepiness factor. Shed be the only character with like superhuman powers because she can read minds and move things without touching them and bring dead things to life. She is blind (like she got no pupils) but she hangs around with cole the rabbbit who allows Imogen to see through him. Together, they say, they can see all; past present and future.

Foxchase: Shes kind of the only 'masculine' figure in the whole village. Shes the leader of a small gang in Unknown called the HOA (home owners association) consisting of: her, Tammy, Zell, Tiffany (If i ever decide to swap blanche), and at times others. (Im sure Chris and fauna got mixed in at some point). Its not really the friendliest gang, each having weapons and underground networks. Her weapon of choice is a baseball bat with nails poking out that she carries out in the open. A baseball cap covers her eyes and bandages can be seen across her legs. Shes one tough chick even though nobody knows how she exactly got there.

I think im replacing my rich boy with an idea me and my friend had together! Basically well have twins that are emotionally synced. They are super close in an almost unearthly way in that if one survived say a horrible accident he wold say "thank you brother for letting me live" as if their lives are devoted to each other and as if the other was divine. Their little wood twins!


Those are the only ideas i have.. Do you have any alt characters? Do they have stories or personalities? Do you have any more ideas? pls help me make mine better thank!!

There is this amazing town on tumblr called Mablerok that has great alt characters. Your two unknown characters kind of remind me of two Mablerok characters.

In my town, I've had three characters almost from the very beginning. Firstly, and obviously, there's the mayor. She's called Teresa and is basically supposed to be me. Like with your mayor, it started of with her being me, but now she kind of has become her own person with her own personality. She likes nature (lots of plants in her house) and is very responsible and acts kind of as a mother/caretaker of all the villagers (including the alt characters). Her house is supposed to be my dream house. It's meant to be cozy, homely, comfortable and welcoming.

My second character was Rin. She is a white-haired Japanese girl and was inspired by my 6-year-old cousin. Rin likes fairytales and is very shy, hardly talks and is a daydreamer. Her house is fairytale themed and is mostly centered around the winter season (lots of cold colours, mostly icy blue).

My third character was Timmy. He is supposed to represent Teresa's "little" brother (my "little" brother irl). He loves video games (not a big fan of ACNL games, though) and maths/physics/sciency-stuff and anime/manga. He is supposed to be a typical teenaged gamer boy. His house is sci-fi themed. I also added in a mad scientist room to show his creepy and dark side (he plays a lot of horror themed games irl). My brother irl is a massive batman fan, but I am yet to incorporate that important part of his personality in his house. Maybe I will have him wear a batman t-shirt.

Hope the ideas for my own characters helped with yours. I really like that you came up with a story for your town as a whole. I feel like my characters are not really linked to the villagers. I did try to figure out who's friends with whom. Teresa's best friends are Bluebear, Wolfgang and Whitney. Rin's best friends are: Fauna, Molly, Muffy and Marshal.
Timmy's best friends are: Chief, Erik, Marshal and Wolfgang.

I don't necessarily have stories for them, but they do have personalities. BTW, yours are very creative!

I have:

Data - The geek girl. She does her house up with all of the sci-fi stuff. She also is more of a tomboy than my mayor.
Kaufman - As in Andy Kaufman. He's a rascal and a troublemaker who's house is set up like a wrestling arena.
My third alt is not yet created but I will do my usual anti-mayor character. Someone who can be mean to villagers, plant pitfall seeds, and do all of the stuff I'd never do on my mayor.

@Articfox5 i decided to switch the rich boy because after looking at Mablerok (which I ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE WITH) It gave me an uneasy feeling that the rich boys where so similar!

Right now, my alt characters are pretty much just used for paths. There's 8, my male mule and !, my female mule.
Maybe I'll add a backstory later. I dunno. 8 and ! get together and start doing factorials?

Glad you like Mablerok, too! When reading your description of the rich boy I wasn't sure if you already knew about Mablerok since they seemed so similar. You still have the freedom to do whatever you want, though. You could still make a rich boy, but try not to make him too similar to Mablerok's.

The idea of the twins sounds great! Would that mean you'd create two characters with identical houses and appearance? If you wanna do that, you could have the same furniture, but in different colours. Like say character A wears red, character B could wear blue. Just a random thought (you can do whatever you want, of course!

Haha! Lol! Just remember: your characters don't have to have a personality or background story! You can do whatever you want with your town. If you ever want inspiration, don't be afraid to ask me for help! I would love to help you!

Yeah! Theyd look almost identical! Idk if we could keep the houses matching for long since it would require constant conversation, but in theory that would be so cool!

The other villagers in my town are each members of my family so we can all play. My character represents myself, or, what I'd like to be. I'm not the mayor, but I don't mind at all because my brother does an amazing job. Everyone works together to make the town nice and clean!

The only two characters that aren't the mayor, who is basically me are
CR-S01 from Trauma Team, his house is a hospital
Bill who is Human Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls, and his house is gold-themed but the basement is the candle circle to summon him.

I haven't played in forever. I have two mules in my town right now because I needed their houses to block villagers from randomly plotting. However, once I unlock the qr machine, I'm gonna create the following alts:

Haru- everything about her will be japanese. She's going to wear a kimono, and her house will be a japanese motel/ izakaya

Nami/usagi - will be living in the forest in a cute cottage and I plan to give her the coziest rooms

I'm also tempting to create a male character, and kinda want to make him a badass police officer, but I need to save my last alt spot for plot resetting, so we will see.
