I feel I've said Diana too many times, so I'll go with a more obvious choice: Rodney. His looks and personality are gross! He made several villagers cry. I was happy to kick him out for Marina!

It's not so much as ugly as some of the designs are triggering.

I have a phobia of certain humanoid-but-not-humanoid appearances which includes clowns, mimes, ventriloquism, certain masks, and balloons (related to clowns and I hate the popping sound).

IRL, I will turn the other way or run away, period if any of the above appears in front of me.

That said, I guess it becomes obvious which characters make me cringe.

The gorilla models are ugly. I feel like some of the desgins for them would actually be cute, if they weren't these hunchback creatures. I never really liked monkey/ape looking creatures in games anyways, but the gorilla models... Come on. The monkey models are actually cute.

BAROLD SPECIFICALLY THOUGH. Who thought "lets make a neckbeard a villager that can move to players towns"? I know every villager has someome that likes them, and usually I am all for it but I really don't get people that find Barold cute. I mean I guess he's a lazy, and that's cool but as much as I love animal crossing, the dialogue is recycled.

The only one which comes to mind is Truffles; I seem to always end up getting her in both New Leaf and New Horizons. I managed to move her out in NH but she’s still in my NL town now when I occasionally check in.

I don't think any of the villagers are really, truly ugly. At least I think humans are far uglier!
