Which Villager personality are you ok with having two of?

So we all know how it goes: we can get up to 10 villagers, excluding ourselves and Isabelle and Tom Nook and his two nephews and Balthers and the two dodo dudes but there are only 8 villager personalities.

So which ones are you ok with having two of in your village?

I ask because I’m sort of narrowing down which villagers I want to permanently keep on my island and which ones I’ll be, uhh, allowing to leave, so to speak. As we all know, personalities will unavoidably repeat the same kinds of lines, so I’m mostly looking to know which personalities you feel don’t repeat exactly the same stuff that often or, at the very least, don’t feel like just constant repeats, somehow.

Smug, currently at 4 but planning on kicking out Julian. Also uchi since there are few of them I like and I have the two best ones for me right now.

Could maybe have two or more snooty but other than that no

It doesn't really matter to me as long as I have 8 different personalities on my island. I currently have two crankies and two...

I hate repeating personalities so in NL I avoided repeating the personalities of villagers I liked a lot (so I wouldn't get bored when talking to them) but now I don't know. I was thinking of repeating Normals and Peppies but my current Uchi has grown on me and I absolutely need Katt, so I might end up repeating Uchis.

Right now I've got two Lazies but that's only temporary (I hope).

I get along most with cranky, snooty and normal villagers. I have two peppies right now, but they do start to get a bit annoying.

the ones I would be ok having more than one of but no more than one extra would be lazy normal or peppy. That is just my personal opinion though. I have multiple in those personalities that I seem to really like.
I would say if there is a personality that has alot of characters you really like and have a hard time just choosing one, let that personality be your repeat

I currently have two normals and two smugs. While I don't dislike having two normals (it's my favourite personality), I don't for how much longer I'll keep two smugs. The problem is that there is no male personality that I like so much that I'd be okay with having two male villagers with the same personality. I wish the dialogues were more diverse...

I have 2 normals, 2 lazies, 2 peppies currently! Not sure if I want to keep the 2 lazies bc of the all the bug talk but I love bones & stitches both so I’ll probably get over it

I’d be ok with any doubles except jocks or uchi (my uchi just left) mainly bc I don’t really have many uchis I like and I find most jocks annoying >_<

I have 2 normals, 2 lazies, and 2 jocks. My ideal would be 2 cranky and 2 snooty villagers because they're my favorite personalities. I can't bring myself to get rid of any of my jocks or normals though. I'll be swapping Zucker at some point for a peppy.

I’ve got 2 smug (Marshal and Raymond) and 2 snooty (Tasha and Judy)

Right now I have 2 lazies, two peppies, two normal, two jocks, 1 smug, and 1 cranky. Earlier on, I had three peppies and now I am sick of peppy dialogue. I plan on getting Ankha and Marshal/Lolly later though I’d like at least one of each personality. My favorite personalites are/were lazy, peppy, cranky and now maybe normal. I’m fine having two of any; I just want my favorite villagers in my town.

I have 3 jock villagers right now, which dosent bother me at all, but for some reason when I had 3 lazy villagers it annoyed me. I think it's because I like the lazy personality and only want one of that type so that villiager will seem special...

I currently have 2 crankies and 3 lazies and I think that it's ok.
I couldn't stand having more than 1 smug when I had multiple, but if you like them, go for it

Normal and crankie for me.

The normal personality is pretty...um, normal, so their lack of extremes makes the fact they're duplicates less noticeable to me.

And crankies because Octavian and Rolf are both must-haves!

For whatever reason I always seem to end up with two lazies, and this time around I ended up with two puppies. While I don't normally set my standards for my 9th and 10th villagers with personality in mind, I still tend to gravitate towards lazies.

I'm fine with any personality type except jock! I have 3 cranky and lazy villagers atm :'0

I currently have 4 normals and 2 lazy. i plan to get punchy as well, so it’ll be 3 lazy but i’m probably gonna get rid of one of my normals. i just really love a lot of the normal villagers designs

Peppy, Smug and Lazy. I mostly ending up with either two peppies or two lazies.
