Which town map should I choose?

In my opinion, both of these town maps are really good. Long, continuous beaches, Retail is close to the dock, lots of space. Which would you choose? 20140218_102140.jpg

Sorry the picture is so large.

Too much ponds in the 2nd one. The first one has a villagers house right in front of a bridge but it looks much cleaner plus you can just move that somewhere else (:

I like the first one.
Everything is spaced out nicely, there is plenty of room for PWPs and the ponds are kind of out of the way. :)
Plus the town hall is near the plaza, which is just something extra I've always liked.

The top. I can imagine a downwards road heading straight from the station to your town hall! Plus, it has an okay number of ponds.

I would pick the 2nd one because it's more even between the north and south sides. Also it has only one strip of tiny land that will be hard to do anything with it (the northeast). The best bet is u will erect a PWP there for looks and that's it. However the con is too many ponds.
I could see why u want the 1st one too. It's very symmetrical but I think it's bottom heavy and it has two tiny strips of land. Con is u can't take out the first bridge and build a new one in the same spot cuz a villager's house is too close.

I like the top one best, because the town hall is close to the square and there are not as many ponds!
