Which Police Station should I build?

Today Bubbles suggested the Police Station PWP in my second town, Nocturne. I've been debating about whether I should build the Police Station and if so, which one to build for a while now. So I thought I'd get some opinions from this site to see if it helps me make up my mind.

Nocturne is going to be a dark, semi-gothic, Victorian-esque town. My PWPs are mostly going to be comprised of Street Lamps, Metal Benches, Topiaries, Statue Fountains, etc. I would like the Police Station, but I'm not sure if either design really fits my theme.

I was leaning more towards the Modern Police Station because I already have Booker in my main town, so I'd like to have Copper for the variation. The Victorian era was the beginning of the industrial revolution so I was thinking the metal police station wouldn't look too out of place? But I still think it might just look too modern and I'll regret it later.

From what you said about your town,I'd go for the classic police station.Even if it doesn't fit in exactly with your town's other PWPs it will blend in a bit better than the modern station.I've always thought that the modern police station looks like one of those pillbox gun emplacements that the Germans used in World War II.

Let me just say, I second this. I have the classic in my town (mainly cus I love my man) and it fits WAY better.

Classic, honestly it blends in better no matter the theme(unless you have a like a metal sci-fi town or such) and I like that cop better as well.

That's an interesting way to describe the modern police station. For me, it always looked like some
outhouse coming from the future, lol.

I would say go with the classic police station. Even if you already have it in your main town, I think
it's design fits better to the theme you described for this town.

I have like a Zen themed town, with the regular streetlamp or Zen Streetlamp. Which police station would look better? I do like copper the best though.

I would say go with the classic. Like others have said, it fits in with any theme.

Yeah, it's looking like the classic is the way to go. I was looking at it again more closely in my main town today, and I think with the right landscaping around it, it will definitely fit the theme.

It will still be a while before I build it, though, because I haven't decided on a location yet. I want to make sure I put it in a spot that I'm happy with since it's permanent. So feel free to keep voting/commenting.

If you have a zen themed town, I really think the classic police station will look best. That's what I have in my partially zen town. The wood is more fitting with the other zen projects.

Go for the classic police station. As a person who has the modern one, it's jarring to have a circular exterior, but have a square interior at the same time. Plus, it's aesthetically more pleasing and fits better with other themes.
