Crystal: I chose all of them tbh I played that game so many times..but Chikorita was my first I believe.
Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald: TORCHIC
Firered: Squirtle? idk
Diamond: Piplup
White: Snivy
Soulsilver: Chikorita and then Totodile in another playthrough.
X: Froakie
Alpha Sapphire: Treecko I think. Sad I haven't played this game in so long that I forgot lmao

I usually start with Grass Pokemon- like chicorita or Treeko, in the rare event that I think a fire pokemon is super cute like Fennikin I'll choose that. :3

Well, the first Pokemon I ever got was an adorable little Turtwig, when I got my first Pokemon game (Platinum) quite a few years back for Christmas. I really loved my little Turtwig, and when she evolved into a Grotle I was slightly distraught at first - because Turtwig is so CUTE - but of course I quickly grew to love her evolutions too.
In a Diamond, I chose Piplup, and in Pearl, I picked Chimchar. As for Soul Silver, I selected Totodile. For Black, Oshawott was my first choice, for White 2 I chose Snivy first. For Y, Fennekin, and X, Froakie. And finally, for Alpha Sapphire, I selected Treecko.
