I really don't like jocks, except for Boone. Out of the ones I've had throughout my various towns, he's the only one that seemed to really fit the personality. Otherwise, I get kind of sick of smug villagers. Yes, more dancing... shoom... I get it.

I think I dislike jocks the most. They are kinda repetitive and I had three of them in my town at one point.
I don't actively dislike any of them. I like to have at least one of each type per town. However, there are definitely types that get old faster than others. I can have two normals, crankies, smugs, or lazies and hardly notice, but I try to avoid having more than one jock, peppy, or snooty. (I've never had more than one uchi, so no opinions there, though it seems like a perfectly fine one to duplicate.) I think it has something to do with those personalities being VERY centered around one thing . . . "I have such huge muscles!" "Ohmigosh, like, did you come to see me?" "FASHION." I like all three, but they feel more dominant than the others, so it seems more noticeably repetitive to have duplicates.

I really don't like the Uchi villagers because of the limited selection, plus I prefer the other personalities' dialogue.

This is so true. There's only like, what, 6 Uchi type villagers? Not that many to choose from. Also, looking for a good Uchi villager to have in your town can get tedious.
Smug villagers, are hands down my favorite tho!

Jocks are meh at best, the highest they've been for me was probably the original and Wild World, as they were less annoying there than in New Leaf and City Folk.
For some reason most of the time I can't stand snooties. They're just.... idk, just the type of person I know I'd never get along with in real life. The fact that many are obviously wearing heavy makeup doesn't help either, because they end up looking like milf-wannabees.
The only ones on which I can stand the middle-aged grumpy snob lady dialogue are those who I can actually imagine being 40 or older.
Tipper is the only villager from this cathegory I actually really love, because I can totally imagine HER in some kind of motherly role, where her rudeness makes her bossy rather than just mean...
But when you give the same personality to squirrels, bunnies and frogs....it's just annoying.
