Which of these spots looks best for the cafe?

I could place it in any one of the black spots: the one near the train station would be a bit tricky with another PWP to navigate around, but I could definitely put it there.

Pink dots are where I'll put the campsite (if the cafe is there it'd be in the opposite space) / red line is where I might eventually add a bridge (and hence why I can't put it in that corner)

I think most certainly near the train station. It just seems more out of the way and yet easy to access.
Though the campsite would be difficult to check on down at the bottom of the map.

I say either place the caf? near the station or near retail. Certainly not down at the bottom of the map. The campsite should be in either of those places aswell, but that's my opinion. XD

choose the one near the town plaza, near the beach. it'll look nice with the path and it won't get into the way of anything. if that doesn't work out try the one near retail, just make sure they line up for the paths. also i like your beach

I'd put it in the southernmost spot. It may seem a little crowded in the north if you put the cafe up there along with everything else.
At the same time, if I were in your place, I think I'd put it near the waterfall. It looks as if it would fit (due north of the southernmost spot).

I would put the cafe to the right of Re-tail. I feel like if you were to place it beside the train station it would block most of the entrance to that cool cut off area that's on the top left corner of the map. I'd also put the campsite in the lower pink dot, for the same reason!

That small section of land in the top left corner could be used for something else like a playground/picnic area, so you wouldn't want a cafe or campsite blocking the way to get there.

top right. that's about where I have mine and it's perfect. It doesn't over-shadow anything important as it's up against the boarder of my town

I would put it in the corner by Re-Tail. And I'd put the campsite below the town plaza

I pick the spot by Retail. I don't use the cafe a lot once I gotten all my Brewster gyroids and the spot by Retail is much easier to build a path to.

Top left position

Pros:

It's near the gate and is easily accessible. You can allocate it with various paths etc. It's next to a river as well so it has more tranquility? idk. It's also not over-shadowing anything.

Cons:

It's right next to the river so you won't have much space to decorate it (adding bushes, trees, flowers etc.) You definitely will not be able to get a PWP in front of it. Also, the way it's right next to the bridge may entice people not to travel down that small side of the map above the river, as the Cafe will give a "blocking" effect.

Next to the cliff

Pros:

It's a scenic location. It's also fairly accessible.

Cons:

Again, with the previous location you will not be able to accessorize the cafe's exterior. There's probably not enough space for a double path. It WILL over-shadow a big space in your town, so if you have plans to put a path/pwp near the plaza then think again as the bottom of it will probably be over-shadowed by the Cafe.

Top right position

Pros:

It's VERY accessible. There's a lot of room for customization outside of the cafe. There's room for PWPs, Paths, Bushes and even trees! It will add more traffic towards that currently un-popular part of your town. There's no over-shadowing due to it being next to the train tracks. It's quite near to a cliff so you could use this to your advantage and make a scenic area right next to it, idk.

Cons:

Can't really think of any...
