The Sweet Potato Ocarina, key of C4-D5, is a replica of the actual Ocarina of Time from the Legend of Zelda series from Nintendo. It is approximately 5 inches in length.
This ocarina is not a plastic toy or merely a collector's item, but a hand-crafted and tuned musical instrument made with loving care by musicians, from the highest quality kiln-fired ceramic.
The Sweet Potato comes in two ranges, Sweet Potato and Extended Range Sweet Potato. The range of the Sweet Potato is an octave +1 whole tone (14 notes). The range of the Extended Range Sweet Potato is an octave +4 (17 notes). The Sweet Potato has 1 thumb hole under-neath, the Extended Range has 2.
The XL model is deeper sounding than the other models, and has the same range as the Extended Range Sweet Potato.
My price is going to be around 50 US Dollars.

Alto, key of C3-E4, is the most popular size of ocarina, and mixes easily with other instruments. A Songbook/Tutorial and adjustable Necklace are included.
This ocarina was produced by Zack Shih of Focalink, based in Taiwan. His instruments are of exceptional quality and are suitable for professionals and amateurs.
The note range of the Soprano is an octave and a third.
This one's going to be around 25 to 30 US Dollars.

I imagine they will be about the same to be played, and I was told its a nice beginner Ocarina. If I get the higher priced one, and I give up on it(Which I doubt but there is a small chance.) then it will just be a collectible.
I also play guitar, but that barely has anything to do with wind instruments. (I have some knowledge of how to play music.)
So, what would be the smartest thing to do?
