In front of my town station I have a rock and a pond right in front making it very hard for me to be satisfied about the entrance to my town. I was wondering, which do you think looks better? Any tips or suggestions are welcome.

Town Map -

Option 1 -

Goes in between the rock and pond, kind of a tight fit, but I can make this area look nice with flowers. Trees and bushes can't really grow abundant here. Goes through the floral arch which looks nice.

Option 2 -

Goes down from the bulletin board while the area near the pond and rock are ignored.

If you need a better view, my dream address is <4400-2238-9862>.

To be honest, I like option 1 better. It looks nice tightly fit there with some flowers/patterns on the side.

Option 2 for sure. It just looks... cleaner. It doesn't look like you aimlessly shoved a path in between a rock and a pond. It looks like you really took the time to find a way for it to work. I like it. A lot, actually.

You should have put up a poll...

I like #2 the most. It's the placement that wins me over. I am actually quite fond of "1-tile wide" paths, so that didn't put me off for #1. In my town, I have my path directly south of the train station. So, the centering of paths is very relative.

Oh, I have that exact same rock and pond position!
I prefer having wider paths leading to/coming from buildings, but I do like the look of #1, with the flower arch in the end and everything.

Having both doesn't seem to look too bad, either, since it gives you room for a sort of mini garden in-between.

i prefer the second, to be honest. looks a lot more.. organized. :3
but both look great, in my opinion, so whatever you decide on will work.(:

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll end up keeping both. Thanks to all of you I've managed to find out what I can do with this area.
