I love seeing my villagers sing but I really don’t like hearing Roscoe sing; he has the music hobby and I don’t like the cranky singing voice. At first, I thought it was funny, but now, I am sick of it :/. I picked play partially due to this and also since I love seeing my villagers run around and I enjoy the treasure hunts
I voted fashion because I find it adorable to see my villagers wearing a bow and walking around with handbags. Vesta was a surprise.
Nature is great, too.
if i could vote for all of them, i would. i personally find each activity very cute and have its own individual charms. gives personality to otherwise flat characters who repeats the same dialogue after a while lmao.
I love play! Not only is it super cute to see my villagers run around like airplanes/Naruto wannabes, it's also super cute since I like to imagine it is some of their ways of flying and being their natural bird selves.
Egbert, Piper, and Sparro all have the play hobby on my island and the latter two especially love running around together, which is adorable to me<3
I think they're all adorable, and education would probably be my favorite, but I just wanna give some shout-outs to the underdogs. Fashion is adorable. I have Miranda and Puddles on my island and I love watching them strut around in their little high-end stuff. It's not the most interesting but it's cute and gives them personality.
Fitness is adorable too, but usually only when they do it in groups for me. I love seeing them doing a little routine together.
I was going to vote the play because it always makes me laugh to see them running around like nuts but then I remembered singing! I LOVE when they sing! I always smile and sing along with them!
Nature! I don’t mind the others but music makes them sing just a little too much for my taste, and it bothers me that fashion and education makes them wear accessories you didn’t give them (Maple’s constant reading glasses were part of the reason I let her move out )
I was really annoyed by play at first but it might have just been because I hated Moe. Watching other villagers do it it’s starting to grow on me now.
I love to see and hear my villagers singing and dancing to the music. They mostly like to do it in my town plaza, as I have a little area set up just off the town plaza with a music player and instruments. I've not actually been able to get my villagers to play with the instruments themselves for very long though...
If I had to pick a second favourite, I think I'd go with play! It's so cute to see them zooming around, especially when it's a villager you wouldn't expect (like a snooty or cranky).
Music! All my villagers sing, but I find the ones with the music hobby (Chief, Rosie, Marshal) tend to sing more. Education is a close second because I love seeing my villagers with their cute glasses.
I'm most sentimental about Music and Play because I have had so many villagers with those interests, but between the two I picked Play because I think it's cuter.
My island has a lot of greenery/forest areas, so I love the nature hobby as I get to watch villagers nestle under trees, carry around log bunches, and interact with nature. Makes for a lot of great photos.
I voted music, because I really like it when more than 1 villager is singing, or when there's one singing and there's an audience, or when they interact with musical instruments.
But to be honest, I like almost all of the stuff I see my villagers doing, except perhaps fitness (and fashion, because walking around ables doesn't count as 'doing' something). It just doesn't have the same charm as the other hobbies. My jock villager with the fitness hobby is just working out all of the time instead of being cute and interacting with other villagers or items on the island.

I share the same opinion like everyone else here. Both traits provide the most interaction to you and everyone in the island.
I don't like fitness at all. Audie literally just became a "jock" villager since she exercises a lot. I decided to let her go because of that. It annoys me that she keeps wearing those shades.
