We all have our favorites.. but sometimes, they aren't as popular as you think they should be! Marshal is great, and Stitches is cute, but there's always some hidden gems down near the bottom of the barrel..

For me, I'd have to say Teddy and Margie. Margie's really quite adorable.. it's sad to see she's only tier 5! I don't know quite why I like Teddy so much. Huh. Just me, I guess!

I agree that Margie is super cute, I figured she'd be so much higher up in the tier listings.

I really love Robin, as I've probably said 100 times on these forums. She's really cute and she's been my best friend since forever.

he's a cranky old pig and he's still actively in my 2002 animal crossing Game Cube town to this day. and i don't love him any less than i did as a kid. sadly i lost him from my main town about a month ago when i took a 4 month ac break and never logged in... figures i lose my #1 villager right?

right now i got a random move in and his name is frobert and i hated him at first but he's really grown on me as a villager.. and that's surprising because i really tend to dislike most jock personalities but here i am.. with two jock villagers parading their muscles around my town. :)
 
Pancetti :) She moved into my town unannounced and I fell on love with her. She is a villager I NEVER, EVER would have moved in on my own. Now, I can't imagine AC life without her. She is co-mayor of my town with me.
 
Phil is my #1 low-tier. Honestly, why is he so loW??! He has some of the same traits as Julian! Eyelashes, a lack of pupils when showing emotion, nice coloring, smug personality, nice house, cool music, you get it.

But let's also talk about Winnie!!! My friend had her in their town and she was their all-time favorite villager! After playing with my friend a lot I fell in love with her too! My friend didn't play for a week and logged on to find Winnie in boxes, so I took her in. I plan to give her back to my friend after they complete the 16-villager cycle but they don't TT so for now she's permanent. She's one of the few peppies I like.
 
I've always had a soft spot for Rodeo; there's something adorable about a scary (borderline demonic) looking bull who's actually a huge sweetie and a bit of a dork. I was so devastated when he left after an unexpected TT accident. :(

I'm also a huge fan of Lionel! I've had a few friends telling me that they find him creepy, and that baffles me. I have no idea what they're on about because Lionel's one baller lion (just look at that moustache)!

I think the goats are totally underrated. My favorites are Nan and Kidd, they are both adorable. I also really like Pashmina, but yeah, i never understood why they are not more popular.
 
Man, I never realized until now how many lower tier villagers I have in my main town - that said, I am a huge fan of animals that have a 'realistic' look and imitate creatures from real life.

My favorites are probably tied between Amelia (snooty eagle) and Papi (lazy horse), who both have real life counterparts (the caracara and the okapi), but are both low tier.
 
These are strictly in alphabetical order, not in terms of preference.

Tier 4

Agnes: One of my favorite pig designs. I want to maybe add her to a town someday because I think she'd fit in well alongside Pietro.

Jacques: The knit hat and the goatee really won me over. It also helps that he's the closest thing to a raven that I can get. He's currently in my all-bird town.

Ribbot: How in the world is a robot frog so low in popularity? This is one of the most solid designs in the game and I love him immensely. He's fantastic. He's in a third town that doesn't have a theme. My favorite frog, no contest.

Savannah: How are people passing up on a zebra? Great design!

Sterling: I'm a fan of the helmet and his house looks great. I have him in my all-bird town and like to imagine that he protects the town alongside Knox.



Tier 5

Beardo: I like his mustache and the fact that he is balding and has mutton chops is great. His is a really solid design.

Chops: Another fantastic mustache! I really like this design.

Cobb: He fits into my horror-themed town well. His green coloration and yellow eyes make him look like a zombie, and the inside of his house is full of mad-scientist furniture. I love this guy and he is overall my favorite pig!

Drift: His coloration fits the theme of my horror town perfectly. That obviously doesn't work for everybody, but it works for me!

Elise: The glasses, lipstick, and beauty mark really add something to her design that I think all of the other monkeys lack. She's definitely the monkey I would choose to add to a town if I had space available.

Gloria: Definitely the best looking duck in my opinion. Currently in my all-bird town.

Hans: His design takes inspiration from classic interpretations of the yeti. He fits well into my horror-themed town. I like him a lot!

Hopper: I find it hilarious that people always say "Oh I love Rosie since she was in the movie!" and yet Hopper was in the same movie, is Tier 5, and no one ever talks about him. I have loved his design since I first laid eyes on him in the Gamecube game as a child. He evaded me for years but I finally acquired him a few months ago for my all-bird town.

Lionel: I'm a sucker for the villagers who have mustaches. He looks dignified and if I had more space I would totally add him to a town.

Lucha: He's a luchador bird. It's a pretty unique design that I really like, even if I can't stand professional wrestling anymore.

Knox: I love the golden helmet and the inside of his house is great. He's currently in my all-bird town and I like to imagine he serves as a guard alongside Sterling.

Mott: I had him before, let him leave, and have regretted that decision immensely ever since. His design, while some might find it plain, really resonates with me for some reason. I hope to reacquire him someday. I miss my little applesauce lion.

Rasher: His design is great and he's another villager who I really want to add to a town. The scar above his eye and his cocky grin give him a ton of chracter.

Tex: I had him in my original town before restarting it. I enjoyed his company and he has a cool design. I especially like the letterman jacket he wears by default. It makes him look snazzy.

Tucker: He's a wolly mammoth! That's awesome! I had him in my horror-themed town and am sad that I had to let him go for more fitting villagers. He was an absolute pleasure to have in town and I wish he were appreciated a bit more.

Walt: He's definitely the best kangaroo in my opinion. A cranky old kangaroo with stubble. I love it.

He showed up in my campsite and I was thrilled! I made sure that little guy moved in. :D

I really like Tabby. I know people think her face is a hot mess, but she's amazing. Her personality fits her perfectly. I'd love for her to show up in my town and become a permanent resident.
 
i agree with you,Margie is a gem. for me, clay is my favorite. i dont see people talking about clay at all which kinda makes me sad. he deserves some love!

Aww that is so sad that you lost him :< I have Rasher in my town, you could come visit him! :)
