Its been a while since i read the books and movies, what does each house represent?

i've taken it several times - most of the times i get slytherin, but i've gotten ravenclaw and hufflepuff too. i can honestly see myself in any house except for gryffindor.

Hufflepuff. The house that no one wants to be in, so they take the quiz on Pottermore over and over until they get into one of the real houses.

I always get Hufflepuff on sorting quizzes, and was sorted into Hufflepuff for Pottermore as well (even though I haven't been on it in forever!).

My friends used to make fun of me because Hufflepuff is "lame" but HUFFLEPUFF PRIDE!

Wait ok im a Gryffindor (according to Pottermore) but like I don't get why nobody wants to be in Hufflepuff? Like the traits of a Hufflepuff I kinda really like and are seriously important. Hufflepuffs don't just sit there to be kind and patient with everyone because they're loyal af so if you're dissing someone that they're loyal too they're gonna call you out. and they work they're butts off so if your gonna depend on anyone, let it be a Hufflepuff. (at least thats how i think of the house) Kinda wish there was more fandom merch for that house

But don't get me wrong, Gryffindor all the way!!

I was sorted into Slytherin.

But I think I would be a hatstall if I was sorted at age 11/12 when you actually do the sorting ceremony. Between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. In which I would totally want to be sorted into Ravenclaw. And the sorting hat DOES take your choice into consderation. I mean the studiousness, the academia.... that is still part of me, but my high school program kinda..... changed me..... to be more competitive.... driven.... thirst for challenges..... Yeah, now, at age 25, (I joined Pottermore at like age 22 or 23) I am a TOTAL Slytherin. But that's okay. Merlin was a Slytherin.
