Which Guitar Hero?

I think I'm gonna get my first GH game for Wii next Friday... but I'm not sure which. There's GH3, Aerosmith, or World Tour. I like Aerosmith, but I also want variety... I'm leaning towards 3 cuz it's a little less expensive, and there's a couplesongs I already know and love on each, but both have a couple I love, a couple more I know, and a ton I don't... so yeah... any suggestions?

GHIII is okay... haven't heard much about GHIV. You should try looking into Rock Band (I or II) as well.

If you're playing for the guitar go for guitar hero obviously.

Also Rock Band loses a large part of its appeal without fellow players to play with.

I have GH3, I barely play it anymore, but I pick it up once in a while for kicks now and again. It was certainly fun while it lasted. If you're looknig for the better game for your money, I'd say go for GH3 just for the cheaper cost and decent song list.

As for the topic: I'd say go for World Tour as it has tons more features than any of the other games, plus the option to download new music.

I got Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for Christmas last year, and it's kept me occupied since. I still play it once or twice a week nowadays, almost a year later.

I'm getting World Tour for Christmas, so I'll be sure to tell you all how it is. If you've got Wi-Fi, Legends of Rock and World Tour both have Wi-Fi, but I'm not sure about the others.

awesome thanks for all the advice guys! i'm not worried about dling songs, since 70 or 90 bucks for a game is more than enough, let alone another 20 for extra songs, at least for me.
and i'd be the only one playing really, so idk if rockband is the best choice... ive played it before with other ppl and its fun, but i love gh so much more
