Gamepad, but I'm dancing around the idea of get a GC adapter at some point. I already have the GC controller from the GC days. Half being lazy, half being unsure if it's worth it.

Okay, well I recently discovered that the GC adapter only works with Smash Bros, so I'll gladly take the gamepad. Thanks Nintendo, but I'm not paying 20 bucks to make a game slightly more comfortable to play when I can't use it on the Virtual Console or anything else.

Lol good luck actually trying to find one for $20. Most people have paid more than that by now whether it be to inflated online prices or buying bundle packs with the adapter included. My sister and I split the costs each of us paying $25 for a $50 official adapter from Japan. It really is worth it if you're someone like me who can't stand the Gamepad for Smash Bros. It makes my Smash experience so much better.

I've seen some 3rd party GC adapters run from around 18-25 bucks myself. Not too crazy about Gamepad myself, but I'll manage.

I just ordered a GCN adapter from GameStop. I had to wait 2 months, but it was worth it.
