Which of you is your most favorited Borderlands?

For me it will be number 2 because l like the characters you can play as in the game, like the event quests, and I like some of the missions you do in the game for story. Oh and l'm sorry the word "sequel" wasn't able to fit, l just notice there was a limit of words.

You can vote more than one if you like.

Max level with all six character for both me and the gf in Borderlands 2 so....

I do like the ability to grab ledge in 3.

I only ever played 2 & 3 so I might not be qualified to vote here, but out of those two I think I have to prefer 3. The story in that one was worse but since I played it with my brother that didn't really matter, we were only there to shoot things and we make our own fun anyway. (we never did care much for the story in 2, so nothing changed in 3...)

Mayhem Mode was just too much fun!

Borderlands 2 is by FAR the best one.
I do like borderlands 3 too though, but I hate that the world is segmented into different planets instead of one big one.
Actually started playing borderlands 3 again yesterday did DLC 1 and it were pretty amazing, doubt I'll like the other ones as much though.
Farmed Craptrap at ultimate vault hunter 10 for the best version of the submachine he drops forgot the name.

I never really played Borderlands 3. I was turned off from it for some reason. I'd say 2 was my favorite! I definitely spent the most time on that one both by myself and with friends.

Yeah my brother likes the 3rd one mainly because the characters and the missions. He also likes going on different planets! But 2 is still he favorite.

Ah, the planets were pretty great to me as well! 2 is a great game but there is only so much dust and ice I can look at before getting tired of it. After 100 hours, it unfortunately all just kinda blends into more of the same... Seeing some new environments was pretty refreshing. :D

Can't say I liked the characters in BL3 though. Well, the playable ones seem cool (have not tried them all yet) but the ones that relate to the story are mostly just... kinda there? A few of them had some funny lines but 90% of the story characters just weren't interesting at all (or annoying), unfortunately

Yeah l agreed with the character thing and basically everything you said. They do have pretty bad jokes in BL3 and the villain the main one is a boring character. I'm still mad they made Zero a bad guy in BL3 and mad they killed off BL1 characters and not like care at all in BL3. so sad

Oh yeah that too, even for someone who wasn't invested in the story like myself it did hurt to see characters from the older games put into scenes with bad writing, especially if the outcome actually affects them.

I might be very wrong here because as I said, I didn't really pay that much attention (oops). But was he actually a bad guy? I know there was a lot of "that doesn't sound like him, oh wow this can't be right" and I think the evil Zero was Katagawa in disguise, with the actual Zero not doing anything about it?

Yeah ik he is a fake Zero but l still didn't like what they did to make him like a bad guy. Some people said he isn't a fake, so now more l think about, idk what's real then. Ik he helps you on a mission.

I haven't played the last one. I did start the first and I really liked it but still it got boring after a while. Borderlands 2 is one I played through to the end and even all the bonus content so for me that's the best so far. I really liked the characters.

The original for me felt the best and I thought it had the best balance. They all get outrageous overpowered builds and I don't care to play that way usually generic guns get pushed down by optimization for interactions with red text effects, but Borderlands 1 felt the cleanest for the more generic weapons and the sniper rifles didn't feel like an after thought as they did in the rest of the series. Borderlands 2 was fine, but I didn't really care for any of the characters except for Krieg and by that time I had already played through it so that killed some of the enjoyment I would have gotten out of him if he was a launch character. TPS just felt off to the point I could barely bring myself to beat it even though I did enjoy Timothy Lawrence. Borderlands 3 feels off as well, but better than TPS and I'm a fan of Zane.

All in all 2 had the best single character with Handsome Jack and the story was fine, but the humor was definitely more juvenile than the first game and that pulled it down a bit. 1 for me had the best gameplay. 3 is fine enough in terms of story, but the gameplay is lacking not to the point of unplayability. TPS was nigh unplayable both in terms of humor that didn't appeal to me, a story I didn't care about even though Handsome Jack is still a solid character and the gameplay felt off and the addition of low gravity and air mechanics just succeeded in annoying me.

1>2>>3>>>>TPS for me.
