Which animals are the best to dress

So as the topic title says which of your villagers are the best to dress? Some are really perfect for everything and some are just...well nothing fits :')

To start off I have 2:

Whitney. I don't know how and I don't know why but everything she fits is just perfect. Shirts, apron's, wedding dress, tiara's and other hair accessoiries. I also think it's because she is white/grey and very tall so the dresses are (unlike with the sheep) so perfect.

And the second one is not one specific villager, but more like a species: Ostriches.
They fit a lot of stuff but they are one of the few which can wear hats just perfectly. They stay the same size and there are no ears to get in the way.

So which of your villagers are the best to dress?

i find frogs are easy to dress with shirts and dresses. diva is so petite and adorable that everything looks splendid on her! i once tted to winter, and my god, genji looked soooo funny with no ears.

I feel like the cats can look really good in most outfits but don't really look awesome in hats! But overall for tops, dresses, etc, I'd say it's cats for me! But for accessories, the hamsters and cubs look cute in like hats and bows but they're outfits always stretch out and don't cover their tummies like Winnie the Pooh! Haha!

I think that Judy looks good in a lot of things. I bought her gifted and she came with a massive wardrobe. Everyday she wears a different outfit and she rocks it!

Diana because she is mostly white with pastel accents.

Rhinos and ostriches in general have good portions so shirts and dresses look good on them.

Long and short sleeve shirts look good on eagles. The dresses can be weird.

i think generally every villager except for the sheep, penguins and pigs are easy to dress. i particularly like dressing the deers and horses bc they have the same body shape as ur player so clothes look cute

sheep, penguins and piggies are hard bc they are chubby and round so they look like stuffed little sausages but that too is endearing it makes me wish they had made it so the clothes can fit without it looking very stretched out

Haha good to hear about the frogs. Only hats will be a problem I guess with their eyes being on top of their heads :') ?

Edit: oh my I'm so stupid...totally forgot I had Henry in my town as the first campsite villager who had to move in so I already know the answer haha.

Wolves are so easy to dress! I have Audie and if I put her in any twirly dress that matches her she will look amazing!

Yes I have Stella in my town and I just can't find much to give her. Everything gets so ugly and I can't understand why Nintendo didn't made something to just let it fit every character but on their own way and shape instead of just stretching all the clothes.

I think deers and cats are very easy to dress because they don't deform the clothes and are average size in terms of height and wideness.
Bunnies too but their ears can mess with hats...
I also can tell you the hardest are the sheep lol

I think cats, bunnies and squirrels are easiest to dress. Sheep are most difficult to dress because all clothing looks stretched on them

How has no-one mentioned dogs? I've had Goldie for a long while and she has quite the wardrobe. She just looks cute in everything and as a bonus dogs wear hats really well since their ears are droopy! In general that means most hats display as full-size versions just like the ones the player can wear. Right now Goldie has 3 different straw-hats because she looks so incredibly cute in them.​

hmmm yes but I had Mac and to be honest I didn't like much of the clothing haha. Ah well maybe some jackets and sporty shirts but I'm not into that so I think it's just my problem or it's because Mac was not one of my favorite villagers (even though I really love his voice) haha

I totally agree with the dogs! They’re so easy to dress and they look so cute with the hats!!

I also agree with the Ostriches, Flora looks amazing in anything I give her

While wolves are my favourite species by far (in case you haven't noticed already lmao) and I love to dress them up, i'd honestly have to agree with you here. Dog's are just such an easy species to dress, and i've found that I have bonded with Cherry quite a bit, mainly just because I love dressing her up in different outfits. I haven't even gifted some of my other villagers any clothing, but she already has 3 full outfits in her wardrobe and hanging up in her house haha. I haven't tried her with any hats yet though, since I didn't know they would actually wear full size hats, so thank you for letting me know! I'm definitely going to experiment with that soon, now that I know.

It really is a shame that some species can be pretty hard to dress though, especially rhinos (who can look strange in a lot of clothes, at least to me) and squirrels who just look too short for my clothing taste. I guess it really does come down to opinion in the end though, and what type of outfit you're trying to use on a villager. I would like to give a quick mention to horses though, because while I haven't really worked with them too much, from what i've seen they look like they'd look good in a lot of clothes since they're quite tall and slim, and I honestly want Roscoe now just to see how he'd look in some of my custom designs haha. Has anyone else had horses here? And if so, do they look good in a lot of clothes like I think? I'd love to know if anyone can answer this, and pls @ me/quote this post if you do!

I like giving outfits to my cats,big bears and pigs.The bears have a nice,big frame and just about any clothing looks good on them.The cats have an inherently stylish design so it's mostly a matter of finding the right colors.I like the pigs because regular clothing just looks funnier on them.I have an all-pig town in New Leaf and I thought Curly looked like a porky biker in the denim vest so I got the whole village to wear that outfit.

I think normals and lazies are usually easier to dress because of the natural colors.
The easiest to me so far has been Rex, everything looks good, he has so much clothing by now lol
