Where to put the police station?

my sweet baby elmer requested the police station today! so, where should i put it?

i'm kind of regretting not plot resetting because my villagers houses are pretty scattered. :/

You could either put it in that protrusion on the east side right on top of the river, or you can put it in between Re-Tail, the Town Hall, and the Town Plaza.

I think that putting the police station below the river and near a permanent bridge would look cool! In my town I have the police station right by the entrance to Main Street and I've noticed that a lot of people tend to place the police station north of the town. That said, I kind of regret where my Police station is because it feels out of the way with respect to the rest of my town ><. If you placed your police station by one of your bridges though you'd definitely see it more frequently and it would feel more integrated with your town .
