Where to Build Cafe ;__;

Omg i literally dont think there is a good spot for the Cafe or the Police station ;___; but theres no way in hell i'm deleting parfait i adore it way too much and the villagers<3
Do i wait to place the Cafe until some villagers have moved out?

This is my map (oh and ignore the red circles they are from a previous thread)

Right, The house near the line which indicates step down to the beach on the lower half is now gone (that was Curly's)
And Frita's house is now in the top right corner of the map, along with those 3 houses
So where would you b uild the Cafe & Police station in the future D;

I would put the police station in the top right corner and the cafe on that out crop near the campsite.

I would put the cafe above ReTail, under the river. Short run from the bridge. Police station, maybe along the north side of the river, south of the Town Hall.

I like putting them usually by the train tracks at the top of the town...But I also really like the little space that comes out to the right of your campsite. You could maybe put the Cafe there unless you already have another PWP there. Otherwise, if it were me, I'd just put them at the top of the town.

I think whatever building you decide to build it should ALWAYS be against the top of the town so it is not over-shadowing anything. Rather than having the Cafe and/or Police station in a random location within the town, I think that you should situate it near the top of the town with its back facing the train tracks. That way, it will never pose as an obstacle to redirect your paths around.

My favorite place for the cafe is due north of the town plaza, as close to the plaza as I can place it.

Somewhere with a river in front <3 then you can build a bench nearby in front of the rive to drink coffee hehe

yeah I like the idea of putting them near the train station or in the northern part of the map. Maybe one on each side of the train station? Or both just on the left side of it.

I would put the cafe next to the train station I like the idea of the visitors visiting the cafe after getting off the train. I put my police station next to my town hall to try to maintain order in my role as a dictator... er mayor

I agree, the train tracks might be a good option. If you for some reason, do not want to place these buildings at the top right, then I think these locations work nicely too. The colors don't really represent any specific building, but rather they refer to, "if you place one here, i would personally place the other in the opposing color circle".

Right ive built it just this second in the top left corner..
and just after doing so, my little french fry sheep <333 requested the lighthouse which i think would look perfect on the outpost on the bottm half

I should visit your town in a Dream Address.

With my two towns, I have The Roost Cafe built in areas that are pretty central to traffic. That they are encouraging a pleasant and/or unique flow. In Applewin, it's centered just as one crosses a Fairy-Tale bridge from the north to south side. In Progress, I couldn't center it in town but selected to place it on the southwest side—which does makes it fairly centered in terms of the map layout highlighting the beach (which is west/southwest/south). I do it to give it some emphasis; that it's a special area.

With your map, it looks like The Roost Cafe being centered would be too close to the Plaza and the Town Hall. And that could make that area become too busy—perhaps even chaotic. To place it north may be your best option. Perhaps you would want it north and just west of the Train Station. Again, not having visited your town makes it difficult for me to say. But maybe you can make The Roost Cafe stand out in that area. Based on the map you presented, there are no human and/or villager houses in that area. If you go for that, perhaps you could place a bench, a fountain, a drinking fountain—a combination thereof—in that area to help The Roost Cafe stand out.
