Where the heck are my rocks?

So uh I only have 3 rocks on my island. I cannot for my life find the other 3.
For context, I'm trying to slowly move my rocks to specific places but so far it's been downright unsuccessful. I've triple-checked the requirements for rock spawning (valid 3x3, valid tile, not close to any constructions/buildings) but none of my rocks are spawning in that area. I've also checked everywhere for other places they could be in but no such luck. Tried going in and out of houses, rebooting my game, and still nothing.
Here are pictures below of some spaces I left for the rocks to spawn in (denoted by the hole).

Any help or tips for me to be able to move the rocks there (and find my other missing rocks) would be really helpful. :] Thank you and have a good day!! ❤

edit: thank you for the comments! i've decided to clean up the area a bit more and remove the path area along with surrounding flowers and trees, so hopefully that will help the rocks spawn ^^

Honestly, the game is REALLY finicky about spawning rocks. I suggest moving any items even kind of near the desired spawn spot (for instance, the flowers/trees) to be 100% sure there's space nearby. When I moved mine I had big empty areas with hard pathing around them to ensure there were both no other areas for them to spawn, and that there was no chance any items were "blocking" them. Sometimes it doesn't even seem to make sense what's blocking them, hence why it's best to just keep things super clear.

Honestly, the game is REALLY finicky about spawning rocks. I suggest moving any items even kind of near the desired spawn spot (for instance, the flowers/trees) to be 100% sure there's space nearby. When I moved mine I had big empty areas with hard pathing around them to ensure there were both no other areas for them to spawn, and that there was no chance any items were "blocking" them. Sometimes it doesn't even seem to make sense what's blocking them, hence why it's best to just keep things super clear.

The unfinished part of my island is overloaded with flowers, but I'm pretty sure I had some free spaces between them before I did the mannequin method so I couldn't get why my other rocks weren't spawning in those tiles (or spawning at all) haha.

sometimes you need to let them spawn in once in a different location ( not your preferred one, just let them naturally spawn to soft reset them) then try again, its suuuuper finicky, move any flowers away as well, just in case is preventing them from spawning in your choice location!!

I think it's because of the tree in front of the spot. It doesn't like to spawn behind things that block it from view.

I had 2 rocks before that spawned right beside my fake paths so I didn't think it would hinder them, but I'll just try removing them to clear up some space :]

I had the same issue happen to me, i covered my entire island in weeds and had a set spot but only half would spawn in, while the others were stuck in limbo, i really dont understand it but its just something you have to kinda fight with to get it how you want LOL. good luck tho!

have them all spawn then 1 by one work on getting 1 moved to where you want, so the game doesnt freak out(?) haha

Same, I don't fully understand the game mechanics but oh well. Gotta do what you gotta to do move those rocks :')

I've also had my rocks in limbo, best advice is to just do one at a time tbh !
