Where should I put my The Roost?

I was thinking top left corner near the pond? But Filbert plotted his house almost too close to where I wanted the cafe to be. Any other suggestions?

you could put it in the upper left hand corner, not near the pond, but below your town hall? unless you have a PWP there. my roost fit nicely between my town hall and my re-tail, which were v close together... i like keeping the town amenities together haha

I always thought the Cafe near the plaza looked good. Putting it near town hall and retail is viable too. Maybe to the right of the pond near retail?

Is that bottom right area being used to anything? Or the top left? If I were you I would try and back the cafe on to a river or the train track or something. It takes up so much space and you struggle to see right behind it. I put mine backing on to a river so it wasn't in the way too much.

On the south part of the rice where the river turns into a waterfall seems like a nice cafe shaped space
