Where should I put my lighthouse?

I'm tossing up between two spots for my lighthouse - where I am currently standing on my map, or in the bottom-right corner (Jitters' house is there currently, but I'm hoping to eventually move him out)

My only concern is that I am hoping to eventually have all my villager houses on my little island, and I don't want it to be too crowded (I also have the flower clock in the middle, which takes up quite a bit of room)

I mean I know I could demolish it if I don't like the position, but after putting my campsite in such a dumb spot I want to make sure I choose wisely this time!

I kind of like it where you're standing. I'd imagine it would warn the ships not to hit the cliffs.. but that's just me. XD

Hmm, it might make more sense in the right corner maybe as that looks a bit nearer to the dock? And the lighthouse should be by the dock to steer the ships? I think...yeah I think I like that spot best. Just fits. Love your layout by the way

I started building on the island, but maybe I will move it to the corner when Jitters moves out - I think I actually like it better there, idk.

And thanks!! I really like it too! I'm kinda bummed about where I put my campsite but I think I've figured out a plan to make it work for me (finally)

Although your map is different to mine (yours is much better) I actually placed my campsite on about the same place...its right in the middle of an open space also regret putting it there. I've had to box it in a bit with trees so it blends in a bit better. I've got used to it now and it doesn't look bad when nobody is camping...

My town is still pretty new so I haven't done much landscaping anyway, but I think I'm gonna have a side character and keep them in a tent so it can be a whole little camping area! With some trees and cute PWPs hopefully it'll turn out okay!

Actually, Link has a good point, the right side would be a good spot. I have mine near my dock and I love seeing the lighthouse shine over whenever I'm on the dock leaving or arriving from the island!

I still like where you've built it though. It makes the pirate beach seem less lonely having it there, if you know what I mean? xD

Love the map!
I'd put it in the bottom right corner. I like placing the lighthouse close to the cliffs, and even better, just over the beach.

That's a wonderful map!
As stated before, you should put the lighthouse on the right, it's really nice to see it when you're approaching the dock.

Yeah, I always put my lighthouses on the cliff near the dock. X3 It just makes the most sense.

i will leave it on the left for now but maybe when jitters eventually moves out i will move it over to the right corner...

i've just been wanting to build it for so long because my town is seriously lacking in PWPs aha

Holy heck that map is good.

I like it where you are standing, but both sites would look good I feel.
