where should i put my house?

i reset my town and got this map, but i'm not sure where to put my house. does anyone have any advice?

Agh, I imagine the bridge placement will get annoying. But I like that map :3 It has a waterfall that faces the screen, so I'd take it. ^^

I like it ^.^ it has only one lake so you'll have plenty of space for PWP's and the river is flowing down facing the screen so that will be a nice view.

Edit: Only problem I would personally have with it is that I would want the bottom right corner to myself, but there's a house there already. So I'd have to pass on that map. ^.^

I love it! There's good spots to place PWPs, And the bridge placements are not gonna be hard as some maps!

It's okay but the river is quite straight which would annoy me tbh but if you like that then I think your map is fine. I would put your house by the town hall and cafe by the plaza or whatever x

Southern facing waterfalls are nice. It's a neat layout OP. If you don't have any dislikes, go for it!
What are your starting villagers? That can make the decision easier. Ha :3

That looks really awesome, but beware when you have them all grouped together. I've done something similar in my second town (a town I don't really play on at the moment) and I got a little tired of the fact that all the villagers mostly just hung around that area. But if you're ok with that, I bet it will look really good!

thanks for the advice, everyone! ^.^ i've decided to keep this map.
but i'm still not sure where to put my house. i don't think it would look good squished in between the villager houses, but i have no idea where else to put it. here's an (unfinished) more detailed map i drew of my town for reference:

It looks good where you are standing, but if it suits you, it would look good maybe near one of the corners so it will be out of the way of Public Works Projects. Along with everyone else's advice, I hope you find a nice spot to place it!

unfortunately, i can't put it there because there's a rock. ;_;

I like my houses along the river, that way no villagers could plop their houses down right in front of one of my player houses. All my dogs decided to live on the beach cliff anyway so I guess it didn't matter much!
