Where should I put my house?

My town corrupted so I had to make a new town... I got a good map though. So where should I put my house (and other PWPs I guess)


Or should I just keep resetting until I get my old map:

I reckon you should put your home in that little bit South-West of your Townhall where the river switches direction and goes right. Your house won't be miles away from Re-Tail and the Town hall, and I like how it will be bordered by rivers.
