The one behind your mayors house, right there is a good spot but idk if theres enough room.

One maybe near the beach or close to all the important buildings like the Town Hall, Re-Tail, Event Plaza, etc.

pretty sure i can't put a bridge across my house because its a waterfall

I would put one behind your house, and would demolish the one u already have to move it in the corner to the left from where it was, and finally the other one would be closer to the town hall, just before the first "bump" on front of the town hall. If you cant place a bridge behind your house or dont want to demolish a bridge, I would say that potatoe idea is a good one.

This is my idea, but u already said that u cant place a bridge near you house, so I marked it with red.

Yeah, that seems like a pretty good idea, or what Swiftstream suggested.

Well, if you cant place a bridge near you house (red lines) you could just have 2 briges on the top part of the river, or could use this set I suggest, I only added the yellow bridge below, I think that with tho other 2 bridges should be ebough for your town.

This seems like the best option to me too. Am I blind or is there no Re-Tail on the map? That could also effect where you put a bridge, because you'll want at least 1 that makes it easy to get to Re-Tail. Especially at the beginning when you'll be doing a lot of Island hunting and selling. The 1st one I'd build would be as close to your house as Isabelle lets you. It helps if you put down a few temporary path squares. Because then when you're talking do her, you can keep standing in different spots and the path creates a border so you can see where you're standing better than just grass. I've squeezed a PWP into the tiniest spot, after trying a million different places to stand until she finally said I could build it. It's very weird. IDK if I explained that well. LMK if you need a better explanation.

i'm standing at the re-tail and i don't really need to go to island and get beetles so it doesn't really matter to me

That's kind of annoying if you can't place the bridge at the spot near your house considering where the circular portion of the river is. Makes fishing in the rivers a bit of a hassle.

Looking at your map I'd say this is your best-case scenario (even though it has probably been suggested already):

i can place a bridge behind my house just not across it because its a waterfall and its too close

If possible, I think having one right behind the plaza would be cool. Would give you a straight shot between Town Hall and the Plaza.
