where should I look for my extra ACNL copy?

a few months ago, I ended up losing one of my copies of ACNL. of course, it isn't that big of a deal since it isn't my main file; however it's bothering me as I lost a couple million bells and sanrio items, ontop of more unorderables and rare hybrids. not only that, but I want to turn it into a cycling town.

so, does anyone have any ideas of where I should look? it's inside my house as I never took it outside >_<

I don’t have any good advice but I lost my copy of animal crossing in 2013 and found it in 2017 lol

Oh girl don't ask me I lost two copies and had to buy a third one off a friend.
I think someone stole the first one from me in the train, and I probably lost the second one while moving away.

I suggest searching where you would never think it would be, or ask your parents (if you still live with them?) where it might be.
Search deep inside of your storage furnitures.

This is really why I prefer having digital copies. Did you check everywhere in the house?

Your Nintendo case (mine sometimes fall out of the slots)
Bed and in between sheets/blankets ect...
Where you usually play on your system
Desk, bookshelf, where you store your amiibo/other games/other Nintendo stuff
Under the bed/where you normally play

Since you said months ago, I suggest bags, sine you maybe took it out before? My games have popped out of the system before despite the fact that the Nintendo is straight upright and isn't moving around alot.
