the stickied boys vs girls poll got me slightly annoyed so I wanted to see how many other nonbinary/genderqueer animal crossers are out there!

I'm nonbinary myself and I use they/them pronouns :)

your second comment doesnt even make sense because trans women and trans men are a thing

??? yeah, they still identify within the binary though? i wanted to see how many nonbinary people are on the site. i guess i've met one!

I prefer for people to replace any gender pronouns with my Name TBH

example: where is nebu?
Oh nebu is over there

but I don't think that counts lol
because I don't deny my biological sex is female but sometimes I'd rather not be referred to with she/he pronouns, or they/them (unless needed)) like I said I just like having my name replace pronouns, not to mention so many of my friends never referred to me as he/she for so long, it just now feels right. not to mention I'm really gender confused ever since I was little so just using my name makes it much easier for me

but like I said I doubt that counts

that's really interesting! you should look around and see if you can find a set of pronouns you like. you can still id as female without using she/her pronouns.

I have an issue with identifying nb's as they/them. Especially when I'm familiar with them. I don't know why it bothers me, so I use their given name or screen name. They/them sounds too formal. Also, nb's are welcome in the lgbta thread. Should really be called lgbta +. But what ever.

i hate to be technical, but i kind of agree with justice? some non-binary/genderqueer people also identify as trans... like me.
for example, if someone was trigender (let's say "man", "woman", agender), they would be both non-binary AND trans.

but besides that, it's nice to have this thread! it makes it easier to find cool users. :')

i like they/them coz i honesrly dont like pronouns like xe. its very hard for me to use. i dont like it/its either bc im not an object.

I understand. I'm just an affectionate person deep down so I guess I like to feel more familiar with the people I know and like.
