Where is the spaceship part?

I saw the U.F.O. in my town today and shot it down. But now I can't find the spaceship part ANYWHERE! I've been going around town two times now and still no sign of a spaceship part. I kept looking behind the trees too.

look behind the curves of cliffs, but sometimes the parts can spawn underneath the event tents or in the river, which means you're doomed :c

If the UFO was close to the cliff (at the edge of town) when you shot it, the part may have landed outside of town and it won't appear. But otherwise, it should be there somewhere. Look behind trees and buildings. Sometimes it can be hidden.
