I've been breeding my hybrids on the beach forever. I used to breed them on the grass when I first got the game, but after having a few destroyed by villagers plotting their houses right on top of them, I quickly migrated everything down to the beach, and I haven't lost a hybrid since.

Do you have a specific place in your town that you breed your flowers?

I like to breed flowers on the beach, just in case if a pesky villager moves onto them. :c
I store like all of my flowers on my beach, too. :3

Yes, I'm terrified of new villagers plotting their houses on top of my hybrid spots! I always plant them near public works projects, houses, the station line or buildings. I have been growing my blue roses on the beach because it got so confusing with trying to figure out which red roses were hybrids and which were ones planted by villagers.

The flower bed pwp and the fence are great too, and my Brewsters has a lot of space around it too.

In my main town I have a large area near the bottom of my map that's totally empty and I could never figure out what to do with, so I kind of made it my hybrid breeding grounds. I tried doing them on the beach for a while but they seemed to spawn a LOT slower on the beach (but maybe that's just me), plus I would totally forget them since I rarely go on my beach.

Oh! Do flowers grow slower on the beach? My blue roses have been growing one a day, and I was wondering why they were taking so long. I thought it might have just been because they were hard to grow! I might move a couple off the beach then.

I breed mine on the beach too! Mostly because I don't know what to do with them right now xD

I used to breed mine in all the spots possible in my town when I first started playing animal crossing new leaf! It was every where and I've tried every possible way to breed hybrids efficiently and stufffff. But since I've bought most of mine through an awesome trader I just have a small breeding patch right in front of my house now so I have something to be excited about when I walk past it everyday, right now just breeding some carnations and blue pansies but I might end up buying them again xD

Blue roses are slow to grow anywhere for some reason. I've just had less luck in general with breeding on the beach than on the grass. I tested it in another town and I made an area on my beach to get pink cosmos and I got 1 after several days. I made an area on my grass to make pink cosmos and I was getting 3-4 a day.

i plant them wherever there is space. i dont plant them on the beach though. its filled with rubbish.

i put a ton on the beach-- but that's not just protection from re-setting villagers (which is not an issue in my town), but also from meddling villagers in general, AND from frisky town visitors that may decide to elude your supervision....

On the beach or in areas where I didn't put PWPs or paths at yet. Hopefully I won't have to worry about house plots, since I have all my deamies.

i do it on my beach. I used to use empty areas in my town but then I started landscaping soOoooo I moved it over to the beach :>

I breed them absolutely everywhere that isn't taken up by a house or some other building/pwp. I've kept 3 small areas clear for the 3 villagers' houses I have left to get.

I didn't know you could breed flowers on the beach, though. I just thought that was for storage of them  You learn something new every day I guess.
