i mean a new video game like one that just came out
i personally try to avoid going to gamestop since it's usually always out of stock due to the fact that gamestop is like the most popular place to get games

i usually try best buy for new releases, never tried target or walmart

and yes i never pre order. because i don't have a credit card q.q

I like pre-ordering games I really want from a certain online store, because they don't give a damn about street dates. I got Pokemon X/Y two days before their release, other games I've gotten up to two weeks early.

WHAT? GAMES EARLY? the retailer must be careless then
i don't really care about getting it early, but i do care if i'm getting it late. if you miss a big title's release date then you have to wait for about a week

Not all the games I got really early were that spectacular, though. I think with big titles they won't ship until it's closer to the release date, but they shipped both Lollipop Chainsaw and Disgaea D2 a week early for example.

I think if it were COD or something else that everybody and their mom wants they'd make sure to not have it arrive until the actual release date.

Target or Best Buy. It's about accessibility for me, those are the 2 places I can just grab and go easily. Everyone rushes to GameStop cause it's GAMESTOP. But rarely do I go there first. The employees rude or ignorant most of the time and never seem to know what they're talking about if you ask them a question, they just give the dumb bro answer, or there's a line and stupid mothers are fighting with their stupid children over the prices or game ratings at the register. Or somehow if it's not a AAA title they have squished boxes, like what the heck are you idiots even doing over there. No. No more of that place. Target, Best Buy or this local one called GameDude in North Hollywood.

game or gamestop, since they have have a slight different stock i use both tbh

I stay up until midnight, buy it from the eShop, then let it download as i sleep

Most of the time I get them online or pre-order them, (because I pre-ordered ACNL I got it on the 13th June and not the 15th) but I get some games from Game because there aren't any Gamestops around where I live~
