I got mine at target because best buy sold out >: -(
I bought two animal crossing special edition switch : - )
I bought one for personal use and the other just to collect lol..

I'm wondering if it'll stay limited edition. Like, the poke'mon switch
is still available to buy,but its an extra $100 or so on amazon. From my understanding(
I may be totally wrong) that the pokemon one was suppose to be limited edition too, right? or no?
I'm genuinely curious lol

So, do you guys think it'll be the same for this animal crossing special edition?

I got my special edition switch at EB Games Australia for $469.

Got AC:NH from there as well for $79.

I got mine at EB Games. Only the game though, I don't need a second Switch (plus, I can't afford to buy a second one anyway).

I'm actually waiting until after my birthday, which is tomorrow, before i pre-order it XD don't want to buy my gift early if someone already got it for me

Oh, Happy Birthday in advance! :)

I pre-ordered mine with Game, and it comes with a cute tote bag.
It will be a birthday present for me as my birthday is a few days before its release :) thanks mum!

I have a physical copy pre-order of the game coming from Target with the notebook, and a pre-order of the Nintendo Switch to be picked up at Best Buy on March 13th.

I preordered the switch at GameStop because it says it will get to be before the 20th.
The game I ordered at Walmart because I want to pick it up the day it comes out and the store is close to me. I’ll probably end up returning this though since family members will probably buy me one as well. It’s my birthday on the week it comes out, and I’ve told them that’s what I want. Buying it just in case it sells out or something and don’t get it.

I got mine at GameStop so I can pick it up the morning of easily, rather than wait all day for UPS to come.

I got my special edition AC:NH Switch from BestBuy though.

Local Canada EbGames for the game. They know what I like and my order is ready when I arrive.

I stopped ordering games from Amazon.ca after getting a U.A.E. ACNL old edition. I ordered NA ACNL Welcome Amiibo game with a card. Sent it back and got an NA ACNL Welcome Amiibo game but no card. It was fulfilled by Amazon.

Read that Walmart Canada/US and Amazon Canada/US games can be late arriving. Some posted that the Friday game release didn't arrive and they were told they would have to wait till Monday. Streamers have had their games delayed and had to go to the store to buy a copy. Most returned the game when it arrived. Some did a giveaway.

I ordered the game from Best Buy (shipping to my address). I won't have time to play until Friday night at the earliest anyway, and I suspect I'm more likely to wait until Saturday to start my town, so waiting for a physical copy to arrive isn't a big deal. Plus, that will give me time for other people to start compiling info on town layouts, startup considerations, etc., to make my life easier.

I don't think I'm going to get the special edition Switch. I already have a Switch, and I don't need another one right now (though I wouldn't mind having another one at some point down the road so I can make another town). I like the joy-cons, though, and if they sold them as a stand-alone package in the US, I would be interested in buying a pair. Unfortunately, I doubt they'll have the joy-cons available on their own, and I'm not excited about them enough to try to import them from Japan.

Not gonna get the SE because I already got a Lite.

I was planning on preordering the game on gameplanet, but for some reason preorders were not working and I decided to preorder on amazon mexico, which ended up being better because I'm still not being charged for the game (which means more time to save before release)

Good old EB games. I've put down my $10 desposit and will pay the $70 when I pick up the game

I ordered on Bust Buy, was waiting for Amazon but they don't have that for sale, weird..
