When your Dreamie moves in the WORST spot ever...

in my last town, Frita moved in 2 blocks away from the entrance of the Cafe.... she isn't my dreamy any more after that

I'm sure Frita would apologize profusely and you would go on to be the best of friends. Srsly shes the best

I only plot reset in my main town because it's partially laid out and landscaped. Villager plots don't matter so much in the others because I'm getting the villagers in before starting on anything else. Makes for a lot less stress when booting them up each day (or however often I get to check them).

Rod, poor little mouse. I really wanted him next to Elvis before I replaced him with Cousteau. He moved right in front of the hot spring I had and on top of my path. It was my fault though since I was an idiot and decided to plot reset at 3am and accidentally start up my mayor T-T

Merengue and Marshal both moved in one tile above the perfect spot, it looks awful on the map but at least I landscaped and it looks really nice.... I just don't look at my map much because it looks so icky XD

I remember the time Whitney moved in right between the town hall and Re-Tail...
And the fountain.

Oh my glob, Pietro moved in LITERALLY TWO SPACES IN FRONT OF MY FRONT DOOR! He has since been kicked out and replaced with Muffy, lmao

In Paarl, Erik once moved two blocks from my own home (to the left), so I got him to move after a while...
I got Elvis next... he planted his house, ... correct, on the exact same spot as Erik's had stood :( :( :(

Paarl has four "humans", so I can't use the plot resetting trick, as I do in my other 3 towns

ah well, I learnt to live with it :)

I managed to obtain Lolly last night, and I've been practicing the reset villager plot trick (where you enter the game on a new save file to see where they're putting their house, and if you don't like it, you can reset and try again) and I did this a few times... but then I got distracted and was talking to my Fianc? and I was absent-mindedly button mashing - and I looked down at my 3DS only to see Isabelle setting up my town ! (For those who don't know, this means it was too late to do anything about where Lolly had put her house). So I bit my lip and walked around town to see where she was... and luckily she had pitched up somewhere not too awful, it could have been a lot worse!

About a week ago, Erik moved in. And this was before I knew about the reset trick... he moved right in the centre of my town. I have the town map which situates the plaza in the centre of town, and the river runs in a square shape in the middle of the island. I like all my villagers to be on the other side of the river, near the cliffs. Erik is in the WORST place ever, he's also right next to a bridge. Yeah. I'm moving him on very soon. xD

{Sorry for long post!} :)

ha, that fianc? again :)

the plot resetting works perfectly, but yes, you need to keep your head in it; it's so easy to just load the game

when I plot reset, I put a post-it on the top window of the system, so I don't forget to choose "new save file" (simple, but it works for me)

i haven't pathed my town, i will once i get them all, but bob is RIGHT behind me, punch id 2 spaces to the right of me, and kyle is RIGHT behind bob. Coco destroyed some flowers, merengue is in the way of my path,(i would move it, anything for the queen ;p) stinky is right above tangy, and tangy is very close to an edge. my villagers are not good when putting down plots.
