When villagers put there plot down in the perfect spot

In my previous town, most of the plot placements were down to luck because I kept swizzling the plot reset trick. I only mastered plot resetting when moving in my final two villagers.
Thankfully I made most of them work for me, but Marshal moved right in front of my town hall ehe.

Congrats on getting the perfect spot! It's not easy to do. :)

That's such a great feeling! Plot resetting doesn't usually take me too long because I put PWPs and character houses all over the place to block some areas. I can't wait till I get all my dreamies to remove them & work on landscaping.

Yeah, what usually takes long is when the stick to a certain area and wont leave!
You could start a little landscaping now that way its not one big chore!

Sometimes villagers plonk themselves in odd spots but i dont mind! I feel like half the time you can make it work!

I just got through plot resetting to transfer Broffina (who originated in my first town Applewin) from my cycle town to Temps. On the south side of the town, the most western of house locations belongs to Sprinkle. There was plenty room to slot Broffina immediately neighboring east of her. Tom is east of Sprinkle, but with a really good gap.

Every time I plot resetted to slot Broffina in between Sprinkle and Tom, the stupid tendencies of the game gave me a one-off with Broffina not lined up and interfering with the path or pushed far back. It's a great example of why "Animal Crossing" should let us exert zoning control over housing.

I have Broffina's plot set immediately east of Tom that has her in between Tom and Cube. As I mentioned, it is the south side of Temps. And there are now a stream of villager houses just lined up (in some cases perfectly; with one villager, there's a little difference). My Mayor Alicia is the most east of them all. (The beach is on the west side. They all have convenient access to the southern part of the beach.) So, from left to right (er, west to east), the order will be: Sprinkle, [New Human who I will keep for a theme house], Tom, Broffina, Cube, Tia, Marshal, and Mayor Alicia.

This attempt to plot reset Broffina into the ideal location went on for about three hours for me. And I wasn't willing to make a day of it. So, I found a compromise. But make no mistake: "Animal Crossing" can design the game to allow for zoning control. Why have the mayoral concept if we supposedly cannot have this?!

It took 25 tries to get Walker to line up with one of my paths... It's an alright spot... I didn't want to spend another 3 hours to get (most-likely) the same spots

I hope Francine doesn't take a long time to get next to Chrissy when I get her from someone. ;v;
