When villagers leave...

They leave an item from their house in the recycling bin right? I'm curious to know if they're random or not! Here's certain ones I remember from those who left in my town, and they seem to be on theme but it may be just because I usually don't give them new furniture

I've had a few other villagers move out but I don't think I realized/remembered what they put in there

For example, I don't remember Zell or Octavian leaving anything behind.

Maybe it's random, or friendship based? I've had it happen sometimes and not others.
I miss their little goodbye letters. I used to save those to track who all had lived in my town.

So far my villagers only leave behind wallpaper and something from their wardrobe like a dress or a shirt. I am pissed because they have nice and expensive furniture but they refuse to leave it behind XD

I got nothing. Then again, only one villager has ever moved out.

Sometimes seems to be something from their house, other times its totally unrelated, in my experience. Or nothing at all. Also, on move-in day (post boxes), I seem to usually get a cardboard box in the recycling.

I don't remember them all but Kyle left a grand piano and Elvis left a Pisces lamp so that was nice lol.
