So Eugene is moving out soon, and I would like to get Simon from my brothers town to move in. However I'm just wandering how I go about it. Other villagers have moved out from his town recently and I don't want them, so when Eugene is is boxes do I ask Simon to move in, or when Eugene is out and left town do I ask Simon to move in? I don't want Eugene to move out and suddenly jay or frank move in. Sorry this is so confusing lol.

10 including Eugene, and I would like Simon to put his house where Eugene's used to be.

The day after Eugene has moved out (aka his house is completely gone as well) you can invite Simon to move in. If you have to wait a couple days or weeks before inviting Simon in then keep your Wi-Fi off and don't visit any towns. You will risk the chance of gettign a voided villager.

You'll have to wait until Eugene has moved out completely before you can invite Simon to move to your town.Make sure your Streetpass is off and don't visit your brother's town for any reason other than to invite Simon.After Eugene is gone,check your town to make sure no voided villagers have set up a plot there and if they haven't then you should be able to invite Simon(as long as he's in boxes)to move to your town.An invited villager will override a voided villager from moving in to your town.
