Okay, so I've been moving over my hamster villagers from my old town, and I finally got Flurry in boxes! This also happened at the same time Olivia went into boxes in my new town.

I went over, invited Flurry to move in (it even had a Moved Out message on her house afterwards), and I've been TT with the system clock to get her plot to start showing up.

I've gone at least four days, and she's still not showing up!

Did Olivia moving out at the same time cause a problem? Also note that even WITH Olivia, I only had nine villagers and I'm down to eight now.

Every other villager I've moved in showed up the very next day, so I'm starting to get worried.

She's my marshmallow queen, and I need her in my town. :(

That really shouldn't have been the problem since you still had a spare space for her to move into. If I were you I would keep going for up to 7 days as I did once have a very delayed move in. I really hope she turns up safe and sound soon :(

A delayed move-in makes the most sense, since a random move-in would've happened already. Unwanted villagers come crashing in like the Kool-Aid Man, lol.

Now I don't wanna crush your hopes but there might be a chance she won't move in
Its happened to me twice when I ask them to move into my town they won't come in but those were all with people online
Thats how my friend lost her dreamie and I couldn't help her ;;

Exactly what I feared...I'm losing hope that she'll actually show up. But NO ONE is plotting down, and I only have eight villagers.

If she doesn't, then I'll just have to wait for the Fall update and scan in one of my Flurry cards to get her that way.

Guys, I figured it out! This could come in useful for anyone else who's had problems with a villager refusing to move in:

I'd TT over a week into the future, and I couldn't get Flurry to show up. Obviously. So here's what I did.

1. TT back to the current date.
2. Created new character to check if a plot shows up anywhere. If not, load up your main character.
3. This seems to "jump start" the game. Save and quit.
4. Change the date in the system settings, and then create a new character.

After doing this, Flurry's plot started to show! Granted, this only really works for those of us that plot reset. But still. Knowledge is power! Or something. :)

I've had that happen numerous times! Don't worry! In fact, at least 2x, I had a random move in, because I had 8 villagers at the time, and then after that, the villager I asked to move in came at that time haha. I remember because the villager I wanted went in a TERRIBLE spot, and I was so upset XD
I really wouldn't worry, but if you're plot resetting for them, good luck, really D: It can be so tedious!

Edit;; Oh, I missed your post sorry! Congrats on figuring it out ^^
