When resident services is upgraded does the area of it change in size?

I'm wondering because I thought it was lined up perfectly with the airport dock but then I realized it wasnt after the upgrade had already happend so I'm unsure and want to avoid this in the future if I reset... wondering how it gets bigger like what direction as well if that is the case

Resident Services doesn't really change much, mostly the appearance inside. you still get a decent amount of walking room and a small craft spot. it stays in the same spot as well

Well, the tent turns into a building so it does change size and it moves a bit further to the left, IIRC.

I think the alignment does change. If the original version is lined up perfectly with your airport, the entrance to the upgraded resident services is going to be slightly shifted. I'm not sure which direction exactly though, I'm sorry

I think mine moved to the left if this is true although I still dont know for sure

I started the game recently and I'm about 1.5 weeks in the game. When you upgrade from the Resident Tent to the building, it increases by size to the left, if that's what you were asking!

The resident services square does not change in size or position whatsoever. I've measured multiple times before and after upgrading. Not sure what the others are talking about.

The tent starts lined up on the right side of the square but then the building is dead center when it's upgraded.

Yeah this.

I should know, considering I had trees planted around it that all stayed in their places, unchanged. The only visual difference might be due to the building itself moving from the right side to the center of the plaza. It’s possible people were lining things up with the original tent rather than the space around it.

Okay. Thankyou I was trying to line it up with the center of the brown area which is the center of the upgraded residents service as well >_< really annoying I want to reset because its off but oh welll..... eventually
