Please post your stories. I'm curious! Here's mine.

Today, I got to go to a bunkasai, or a Japanese cultural festival. If you watch anime, think of those episodes where the different classrooms do different things like a haunted house or a maid cafe and so on. If any of you like the anime K-On, you'll remember that the first time the girls performed on-stage was also for a culture festival, specifically the performance of Fuwa Fuwa Time.

One classroom was giving out free shaved ice. I'm used to how shaved ice is made in the US. At the festival today, guess what they used? THIS:

I was like :o and totally had to point out to one of the people I was with that they have these in Animal Crossing. The way it works is they take a block of ice, put it inside, turn that circle handle/crank on the side, and nice and fluffy snow-like ice (again, COMPLETELY different from how they do it in the US) comes out. They squirt on flavored syrup and you eat. I have never, ever seen one of these used before in real life until today.

When I saw those red mallet toys at a toy shop. I had to grab one and hit my sister's head.

If only you could hit real life neighbors you don't like with one of those things and it would encourage them to move out. Instead they'd probably call the cops on you. ;)

There are a lot of white butterflies around here that look like the white ones in the game. If only I had a net...

When I look at furniture, I can't help but think "Oh! That's look like a sleek furniture." Lol.

The TV with VCR looks a lot like my actual tv, it was one of the first items I got and it's still in my main room. I also got a game shelf, when I colored it blue the GameCube became black just like my actual GameCube.

I often think of AC when I see very manicured front lawns with long beds of pansies all the same color!

Last month we went to the big Summer Festival at Mitsuwa and it was totally like being in AC; we got tweeters that looked like the ones in the game, there was a big balloon arch, they had the traditional shaved ice machine, and so on. We kept expecting Isabelle to be standing around handing out event items.

It's the other way around for me. When i saw a school desk & chalkboard being sold at emporium yesterday, then i remembered some of my funny high school moments. And today i listened to my friends' band practicing at a certain studio; that somehow reminded me of my old room in ACNL. (I made a music studio once for HHA interior challenge) xD

Hearing cicadas outside! I found the cicadas in the game to be so realistic sounding, I think of animal crossing because of that. Every time I go for a walk I think of AC. xD

Oh, I LOVE the song Fuwa Fuwa Time! Yui's version is better IMO.

Anyway, I've seen someone post a picture of a real life sofa in New Leaf lol!

When I see tiger butterflies in the spring, lol they're everywhere where I live, and peacocks, white, and yellow ones(Animal Crossing did teach me something!) Or when we go fishing and I catch a ton of yellow perch and I feel like I should make a pun about it.

No one mentioned yet fruit? Huh :D

Well when i eat a reallly good and sweet cherry my brain tell me to do the little emotion "blush" just like the character does in the game 0.o, i think im playing to much XD

Also when i was little me and my friends would ALWAYS do the emotions, happy, sad. Everything!

Recently i saw a big dragonfly while taking a walk, and i was like "oh, it's the petaltail dragonfly! I need to catch it!"

When I was dating a document, I accidently post-dated it, and my first thought when I realized it was "I'm TTing. O.O"

Hearing Cicadas reminds me of Animal Crossing. Whenever I see bugs running around, I think about animal crossing. When I was younger and would fish, I'd think of animal crossing.

The other day I was helping my grandfather pick up sticks after a wind storm and as I was picking up sticks, a grasshopper jumped up and soared over my head and landed a few feet away. xD I almost thought about pulling out my net, then remembered this was real life.

I was on the bus today and saw a real life tree stump (A rare sight in suburban London) and I got really confused because it was uneven and a weird colour. Then I realised that it's real life and tree stumps aren't all perfect with pretty patterns.
