I've always wondered this, because there's three dates in 2004. We're coming up on TBT's 8th birthday, but I don't really know the exact date.

My join date is November 7th, but I didn't do anything for a while.
Then there is a date in December, which I can dig up if I need to, when the board was open to a few people.
Then a little later in December it was open to the public.

So which of those three should be TBT's birthday?

Join date. Even if the forum wasn't "open" yet, it's still technically the birthday of the forums.

Didnt you already make this thread a few years back?

I'm going with the November one (Idk what date it is 'case you're sayin' Nov 4, but your profile says the 7th) because that's its "birth"

Probably. And yes, I meant the 7th. Edited.

The one in November I'd say.

Since it was made at that point. The first one in December would be an exclusive opening, then the last would be the grand opening.

At first I was going to say the day you joined (Nov 7th 2004?) but then I decided that the birthday should be the day TBT was opened to the public. Since you don't say a baby's birthday is the day your parents had sex its the (usually) 9 months later thats the birthday. You should make a poll for this too.

The point at which Justin has been a member of TBT for a longer period of time than not.

Shouldn't it be Jeremy's join date?
My website's birthday is the day I joined it which is the creation date.

I'd say the date in which people were active on the board. Like it was said, you don't say a baby's birthdate is upon conception.

Personally I think that when it was open to the public would be its "real" birthday. You went through creating it, testing it, and then opening it to the public so the public date should be it's birthday.

TBT will never have a real birthday.
