Heyyyy there folks. Yeah yeah, I know I took a little bit of a sudden few month hiatus from the forums but that actually made me think of a new question. When do you tend to play the game?

I usually take a couple month break, logging in occasionally to keep around villagers I like If Rolf's moved outta Alleyway I'm gonna sob. I've been suuuper busy but school's winding to a close and I think I'll be able to play a bunch this summer. I'm also just more active during the holidays for obvious reasons. You can't expect me to miss Halloween or Thanksgiving!

But is there any specific time of year you find yourself playing?

I don't think I have a specific time of year. I played all the time and was obsessed when I first got the game. Now I will get the feeling I want to play and will play every day until I get bored or real life gets too hectic. Then I put it away but I know I will always want to pick it up again. It's like an old friend I know I can call on even if we haven't spoken recently.

I tend to play less the longer winter goes on. It's fun at first but I start getting bored of it shortly after New Year.

Me too, I’m obsessed. But I tell myself there’re worse things to be addicted to. And as long as everything else irl gets taken care of then it sure isn’t hurting anybody. Viva Bon Bay AND Mandala AND everybody else’s towns too!!!

It varies but usually night time or really late night. I could just TT to earlier time if I missed them being awake.

I think the bigger question for me is, "When don't you play?"

This!!! I have generalized anxiety disorder and this game really really helps me calm down and stay positive for some reason. Maybe its that my villagers always seem happy to see me or maybe its this amazing community filled with wonderfully generous and compassionate people but for whatever reason whenever I'm panicking (which is a lot unfortunately) I can turn on ACNL (or come on here if I'm working or in a 3ds free zone) and feel peace.

So yeah, all the time. Sorry if I got a little off topic. I'm just really really thankful for this outlet <3

usually i play in short bursts throughout the year, then stop playing for a few months. so weeds are annoying
as for time, mostly around midnight or morning when i sleep/wake up.

Same for me. It's also why I will spend hours working on dresses for my characters and planning out landscaping. It has a very calming effect year round.

I take some breaks aswell but when I play I play a LOT.
I usually play around 7 or 8PM until 11AM. Or on the weekends when I have the time to.

I usually always play in bed before I have to get up. Besides that I play at random times throughout the day, often at night.

Almost all the time, no joke. Since I'm on a medical leave from school there's nothing to do but lay in bed (and ayo I can't socialize haha thanks anxiety) I even bring my 3DS in my backpack when I go out just in case because I have agoraphobia, it keeps me busy and it's a fun coping skill :') It sounds MAD cheesy but this game is legit a lifesaver. Even with Cobb. please move out

All day everyday! haha, but I love to play mostly during the fall/Christmas time. And I LOVE to play when it rains outside. Just makes the game a lot more calmer and relaxes me as I play. Literally no one can pull me away from my 3ds when it rains or even thunderstorms outside. Call me crazy but it calms me intensely.

I play three days a week, five towns a day. I search for pingers, landscape, write letters, play with neighbors, run errands, all that kind of stuff.
