hiii everyone!
i am personally looking for a theme for an upcoming town i am looking to make.
so, what's your town theme? how did you choose it, and why did you choose it?
i think i might either do a color coded town or just nature themed. still not sure.
thanks for reading <3

When I had my town of Westeros, it was based on Game of Thrones. (Before season eight where they totally destroyed the series.) :)

I had for my town a theme which I pretty much used in every AC game: Typical, simple forest-ish. While I tried to use more unique themes, I ended up to stick with the forst one, as I just got used to it. Besides, I mainly failed to make a better theme which also works and doesn't look weird, so yeah...

My themes are sort of just expressions of what I like, such as keeping things organized, symmetrical, and classic. My last town followed this to a T. The town before that was themed white and blue, and the first town I ever created was a dictatorship.

I plan on restarting my town again soon, and I don't plan to have a theme this time around. :)

My main town, Sakura, didn't start off with a theme. I just wanted to include as many of the things that I liked in the game. It ended up being partially zen-themed and partially non-themed.

The river splits the town into two vertical halves. On the right side, I have the "old" part of town that has been restored by my mayor. It includes mostly Zen PWPs, the Zen Town Hall, a lot of bamboo, and my two player's houses which are both decorated in an Asian style. The color scheme is warmer with lots of reds, purples, and blacks.

The left side of the river is the residential section. The majority of the villagers live on this side. Re-Tail is also located there. The color scheme changes to include more blues and pinks because I wanted it to feel more vibrant. The PWPs include fountains, the windmill, and the wisteria trellis. It's meant to feel more like the lived-in part of town.

I'm currently working on a second town named Nocturne. It will be a semi-Gothic, Victorian-esqe town that is based purely at night. The characters and their houses will represent a small story of heartbreak and loss. The color scheme is purple, blue, black and white.

Mine is a winter forest town that has a gloomy and eerie vibe. Most of the furniture I use is an old or Victorian style. It is just a combination of all things that I like!

My town is almost done and I'm SOOOOO excited!!
It was originally a typical autumn theme town but I reset it after 5 years.

Now it's Primary, a modern city theme town going through the beginning of urbanization. So there's both city aspects along with lots of trees and more natural areas. It's called primary because it is also a colour themed town of the primary colours (and white/grey/black)

My town tune is part of A Town with an Ocean View from Kiki’s Delivery Service! Not only is it one of my favourite pieces of score music but I feel like the name and vibe fits Moon Bay really well <3

I have a cherry blossom town with specific hybrid colors in different areas--no real theme I just designed with my heart's desire. Another town of mine has a zen forest theme. My third town is pink and blue flowers. My fourth town is mostly black, white, and hints of blue flowers. My fifth town is a video game inspired theme.

Borei is mainly a forest town but it has an enclosed visitor community by the beach. It also has a horror backstory but is not completely a horror town, since the horror part is only really in one house. It’s an early summer town during the hydrangea bloom!

Tinytree used to be an orange sunset autumn town. It was all natural forests and had only dirt paths. But I’m currently working on redesigning the town to be a tropical town during the hibiscus bloom, so it’s a very different feel from my original version :>

My home is themed to look like an elegant teahouse. I use yellow and gold colors. I'm planning for it to be set in Autumn for the dream suite.

My town has an enchanted forest theme with dirt paths, fall hues, and a rare orange sunset. My town was originally fairy tale themed, but as time went on, Newmist become more woodsy and natural and less fairytale

eeee, just got done reading everyone's response!
all of your towns are so unique and they sound really pretty!

I had a town names seaside that was a tropical themed town. Out of all the towns I had it was my only themed town, but one of my favorites.

When I started my town, I had a little bit of everything I like theme in mind. So one part of my town was going to be a 'classic rpg town' and other parts were going to be a mixture of country, zen and nature themed. I managed to complete some of what I had in mind for my town, but I never managed to unlock all the PWP required to complete the rest. And I couldn't decide on whether I wanted my dream town to be set in spring, winter or summer.

TheRealm is an all dog Spring (pink) town.
WeeHaven is an all pig Autumn (orange) town.

I haven't finished it yet, but my theme for my current town, Cookie, is very cutesy (I can't think of a better word to describe it right now) with purely pink and white flowers, and houses decorated with lots of pink items and Sanrio furniture. In one corner of my town, though, I want to have a small zen area.
