I'm still working on my town. The theme is mostly colors- white paths, pink and white roses, pink flower bushes. What's funny is when I began Animal Crossing, I vowed not to make my town one of those 'aesthetic' towns just because other people enjoyed doing it. I'm striving to make my whole house Sanrio and pastel kiddie. Anything brightly colored goes, though I collect other sets for sport.
Just for fun, share what your town is like, including the storyline if you have one!
At first, I just dumped tons of styles everywhere. Random flowers, random PWP, random villagers. When I was 17, I started to celebrate my culture more, so I was like...why not a zen Japanese style? So, I started to use a lot of zen PWP, started to get Japanese villagers. Over time, I was also into the details. I like the seasons in ACNL, so I decided to plant flowers and houses based on the season. Since its October now, I placed orange, red and yellow all over. Some purple every once in a while and a Halloween display.
I don't have much of a story of my town when I did have it, but when I first started playing I just placed random things everywhere and chose the public works projects I did like, such as the suspension bridge. I really love that bridge along with the brick bridge. If I still had my town, I would be paying more attention to the colors and placement of things. I like to rearrange my flowers with specific colors together and have a nice brick path, but other than that, no town theme other than just natural.
I have two towns. Sakura is a mixture of a bunch of things that I love. I didn't want to sacrifice anything to stick to just one theme, so I used the river to divide the town into two halves. The eastern side is the old part of town and it is mostly zen themed. The colors are warmer, with a lot of reds, oranges, blacks, and purples. The train station, Town Hall, my mayor's house and my alt's house are in this section and match the theme. However, to the west of the river is the residential section. This area has more vibrant colors and slightly more modern PWPs with things like fountains and a picnic area. Re-Tail and most of the villager houses are on the western side.
Nocturne is still a work in progress, but the theme is going to be dark, gothic, and Victorian-esque. The color scheme will be purple, blue, black and white. The PWPs will include statue fountains, street lamps and topiaries. I'm also hoping to build some kind of a hedge maze.
My town had a forest-ish theme, with as much cedar trees planted as possible and cherry trees. It had
here and there a sort of path made out of clovers. The PWPs I used were (besides the major ones like
The Roost or campsite) mostly street lamps and benches. It was overall more simple looking.
I have an eco-friendly Zen-influenced village town. The endgame is to have a Japanese Zen town (once I had my dreamies stayed in my town once) with only villagers with Japanese interiors
Natural and cluttered!! i tried my best to get natrual dirt paths, but i wasn’t successful ! i used loads of orange and black tulips.. so much so i cant stand to look at them anymore wheeww!!!
