I just got stung three times in a row. (It would have been four but I dodged one hive by being close enough to a house). So far that's the most I've been stung in a short period of time.

How about you guys?
How many times have you gotten stung in a short period? (or even in general?)

I wouldn't remember since I don't pay attention to how much times I get stung by bees. Also, when I see a bee hive, I just save and continue so I don't get stung anymore unless I'm trying to catch one.

i only got stung once, which was last december. :P Catching bees in ACNL is much much MUCH more easier than city folk or wild world.

I don't get stuck often only on unlucky days. I just run far enough away and then open my inventory with x and select the net. It automatically turns you to face the bee and you just wait and catch :)

I don't know. XD When I first got the game I would shake every tree in town to find bells, and since I didn't know how to run I would get stung a lot.

I forget.. it's been a long time since I shook or cut down a tree..
I think maybe three or four times in a row I got stung because I was cutting all of the trees down to landscape my town.

When I was looking for a bagworm last month I got stung four times within about 3 minutes. Up until then I always thought that only two hives loaded per day, so I was taken by surprise the last two times. I'm too lazy to run off though, so I just let them sting me :P

You don't have to shake the tree to get the bagworm. Just hit the tree with your net and your get one. Someone posted the tip here last month and it works. Wish I knew it.

Before I knew about tip I got stung a lot. Some much that I lost count.
One time I was playing hide n seek with the villagers. Found the villager and went to talk to them but shook the tree.
Quickly talked to the villager and it ended the game. Thought I got lucky with no bee getting me. I was wrong. As soon as the villager gave me the prize the bees came looking for me and took me out.

I can't remember at all, I've been playing AC:NL for so long and rarely ever shake the trees so I would say a few hundred.

Besides the only time I ever shake trees is when I need a Bag worm or a Spider.

I used to get stung all the time, until I searched up how to successfully catch the bees. Now if I ever shake trees, I just use the trick, capture the bee, and sell it for some extra Bells. u v u
First of all, shake the tree, obviously. As soon as you have the ability to move, run in any free direction (north is always the best chance, but if it's too crowded by trees then any other direction is fine) until the bees are momentarily out of sight. As soon as you can't see them, pull up your pockets and equip your net. Close the window and press A to hold your net. As the bees fly at you, swing your net as soon as they are within striking distance, and ta-da! You have a bee! ^ u ^
I use this all the time and timing is vital, of course u v u There are a couple of times I've been stung from swinging too early or too late, so don't rush things. But it's quite effective!
Best of luck ; u ;~

Probably somewhere around 50 times. I am just very bad at catching bees. Oh well Frita will give me medicine.

I never shake trees so it's rare for me to get stung. Most I've been stung in a single day is probably once.

Twice.

Question - if you shake a fruit tree to get the fruit, then shake it again, could a beehive/item fall out? Or is it only for "vanilla" trees?

Three in less than a minute. Not even kidding, all three trees that had bee hives in them were RIGHT next to each other.
