What's your relationship with your villagers? Best friend, mortal enemy, furry boyfriend (?з?)? I'd usually write about all my villagers, but I'm supposed to do my homework so I'll only list four
-Butch: town boomer, and my favorite villager to chat with so he'll never leave (●?∀`●)
-Sydney: we're pretty similar to eachother in personality believe it or not, but she never wears the shirts I give her and she started a gym shirt cult, but I still love her
-Blanche: she's the one that is always outside and never asks for stuff and is always giving gifts to the villagers, and she complimented my skincare routine so she's the nicest villager in town
-Phoebe: my sworn enemy. I've despised her ever since I've seen her signpost and hate her more every day. The only thing I like about her is her House (T^T) .

LMAO I love the description of "town boomer". perfectly describes the crankies !

Mine's like this:

Hamphrey: Best friend. Absolute cringy old man, but I love him. My neighbor and favorite. Best person to fill the "Shadow Mayor" role.

Gigi: Best friend. Similar to your Blanche, she's so sweet. Gives me compliments on everything, usually my hair. Always writes me letters out of nowhere and is easily one of my favorite AC characters.

Sterling: Not much you can say about a jock. I like to imagine that he's larping and even has a royal looking house, every time he talks about fitness I just assume he's RPing? lol

Kody: Lowkey Enemy. Asks me for too many favors. Is a jock. Won't move.

Annalisa: Mom friend and someone I go to for pick-me-ups, I adore her a lot, and she weirdly enough hangs out at Hamphrey's house a bunch, so it feels like we're a best friend gang.

Flora: Delusional. Madlad. Writes letters calling me a wannabe and her a superstar. Shows me letters where I told her to vote for me in the next election and calls them "fan mail". Supposedly is talented in everything but can't demonstrate any. My town wouldn't be the same without her.

Kidd: Mortal Enemy. I want him yeeted out. Void move in, but he placed his house nicely, so he's not as bad as,

Ribbot: Mortal Enemy. TERRIBLE placement but agreed to move. Also a void move in and a jock.

Camofrog: Strangers. Came from one of my favorite people, but was a void move in. He placed himself perfectly but I don't know him at all.

Shep: Really liked him at first as he filled the void when Lucky left. He's placed well and I have no issues with him, but I'll also let him go. So I guess our relationship is neighbors.

I will usually talk to my villagers once a day. I do not talk to them too much anymore as I have played the game for a while; they tend to say the same things! They still give me nice items for my birthday, so I must be doing something right haha.

Lmao this is very funny. Well I love most of the villagers, they are all quirky and cute in their own way. I see them as my furry friends and not so much my citizens. Although some villagers such as sterling are my sworn enemy  I can’t really tell you why except to say that I hate his design and he REFUSED to move out of my town for such a loooong time.ifjendosnd annoying!!

This is such a cool thread concept. From my experience, my relationships with each villager is unique for some reason- despite some duplicate personalities.

Eunice- Ever since some of the earlier Animal Crossing games, Eunice has been my 'grandma best friend'. She's always asking to come over to my house, giving me presents, and asking for my advice. She's the villager I'm the closest too. Eunice comes in for coffee when I'm working just about every time. :)

Fang- Fang is definitely the mid-fifties bachelor who likes moseying around pretending to be busy. He is constantly inviting me to his house. As in, every day at least once or twice. He also sends me random letters asking how I'm doing. Right next to his house is Eunice's- and he's planted a garden for her. I won't touch it even though it clashes with my theme.

Puck- (aka The Lake Lollygagger)- The strangest villager I have. If he's not asking for fruit, he's telling me something strange. He once told me that Hazel hates being tickled, and that he's going to use that to his advantage to get what he wants. I kid you not.

Astrid- We're mutual. She likes asking me to find her furniture, and she lets me know what kind of gossip is going around town about me.

Anabelle- For some reason, I view her as my character's 'obnoxious but lovable sister-figure'. I always get her what she wants and in turn she recommends the most pwps to me out of everyone. Anabelle must be close to Eunice in friendship levels.

Marshal- I'm currently trying to get to know him more. I sent him a letter to welcome him to town, and he's showed it to me like three times over the past week, lol. He's adorable and polite. One thing he is, though, is a flirt. He's tested Anabelle, Poppy (before she left), and even Eunice- with no luck. They always think his gifts are sub par. He gave a present to Eunice but she slipped it to me a couple hours later. He's trying.

Tia- I can't ever find her, but when I do she's wandering around with her net and watering can. I haven't even had the chance to do anything for her yet. Tia is shy, mysterious, and sweet.

Punchy- Despite being a lazy like Puck he doesn't act like him. He's unexcitable and he yarns too much. Marshal told me that he likes going to Eunice's- and sure enough, I popped in later to see he was there. Punchy often talks about what him and Puck do together, too.

Hazel- I used to act like I do with Astrid towards Hazel. Now she's made herself at home. She tells me about sports, clothes, and the comments she gets from the other girls in town (mainly Astrid). We're okay friends. I don't suppose I'd stop her from moving, though. Until then I have to protect her from Puck, lol.

(This will obvious change one day as villagers move in and out- but for the time being, this is what gets down)

I love most of them equally. I want them in my town forever. Except this green-blue duck with yellow hair. Quillson. He will be my friend enemy. I treat him like a friend when really I hate him. Just manipulating him so he gets out. :3 Totally how it works.

I kinda ignore them these days. When I play its just to redecorate and stuff. I always responded to the sporty villagers most. Which is funny because I am not spoty at all in real life. I just like the way they talk to me. Axel calls me lady bro. Kid become one of my dreamies after he moved in my own because he just seems like a needy guy who needs to come out of his shell. Hes so cute. Apple is adorable. I feel like her motherly figure. The rest I kinda just like because they are cute/pretty.

I like to think I have a good relationship with all of my villagers.

Grizzly is my favorite and I feel like he is very protective of my mayor, always looking out for her.

Mint has been in my town since Day 1 and is basically my mayor's best friend.

Hugh has also been around since the beginning and my mayor sort of looks after him.

Annalisa is the sweet girl who gets along with everyone. She's never going to ruffle anyone's feathers.

Anicotti is fairly new to town, but is making her presence known. She wants to be the center of attention.

Hans is the self-conscious type who wants everybody to like him. He sends gifts to everybody in town.

The rest of my villagers are rotated pretty regularly, but I always work on becoming friends with everyone who ends up in my town.

Enemies I guess, but it's mostly because I stopped playing New Leaf, but if I were still playing, I'd say I have a good friendship with them because I'm always doing requests everyday and inviting them over to my house. I love helping villagers out and being friendly to them. :)

In Roseton, my first town, a good chunk of them are new to me now. Twiggy, Robin, Ankha, Tom, and Midge are the originals from years ago. Twiggy lives closest to me and is honestly the sweetest. I go to her when I need some smiles. Ankha also lives close to me. I put a sphinx right next to her house just for her so she's never allowed to move out. She's my Egyptian buddy. Robin is like.. my childhood friend or sister. She's been with me since the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing, which is also the first one I played. I'm never ever letting her go. As for Tom, he's like an old cranky man but he hangs out with me and sends me nice letters, so he's a good one. Finally, Midge: she's just the cutest thing. Everything about her is cute. Her personality, her looks, her house interior, her house exterior. Everything. Pink is a nice colour and she had nice taste. I love her.

I haven't been actively playing in a while, but when I was, I more considered myself an observer, other than maybe designating my favourite villagers as being my best friends. I cared more about seeing my villagers relationships with each other than establishing myself as a major character in their world.
