I've heard that an island technically has three (3) native flowers?

Windflowers are growing on my cliffs. Nooklings sell tulips and hyacinths.
My birthday month is March.

Cosmos, it's misery, but I paid someone on reddit to let me come over and buy up a S- ton of white lily seeds, now my entire town is covered in em and hyacinths, now they might as well be my native. Lilies are what I wanted.

I reset for three days for lilies as my native flower, only ever got cosmos, mums, or roses. The birthday theory is interesting. I thought it was game/switch embedded/locked and gave up after getting dom.

For those unaware, flowers do not change with season in store or with the upgrade, you are capped to 4 flower types on islands and in store. After that, you must get them via trading with others. it's really unfortunate. (and yes, I never did get lilies in my store. wah.. Hyacinths, cosmos, windflowers, tulips only.)

My bday is october 7th.

I tt'ed seasons and got all flower types without trading online, as I don't have a subscription.
This was after nooks upgraded, but I did get all flowers to rotate in.

EDIT:
Everyone seems to only have pansies, windflowers, tulips or hyacinths as their in store seeds besides their native, because those are what is in season right now

My upper cliffs area (is that the native flower?) has mum's, I like the look of them as they kinda look more wild with the weeds there. I've left it like that.

Others I can buy are windflowers, hyacinths, and... One other kind. Not lilies or roses, I don't remember tbh. I don't plant many flowers.
