Not gonna decide a theme, I did that in new leaf. And it put restrictions on my ideas since everything had to fit a theme. Just gonna do whatever in nh.
A rural Japanese town with a town square. Everything is close to each other a neighborhood to the left and shopping to the right. While the other half of my island is just a huge untouched wild area. My sheep love to hang out downtown but I'll find them in the fields lazing about~
elegant woods but also a lot of areas that are just silly
I put dinos in front of my shops to walk through. Doesnt fit my theme but does make me happy lol
I have multiple themes throughout my island. The themes I have so far are a magical forest, royal golden areas, Egyptian spa, zen, Spirited Away, gothic + gothic carnival, and a winter carnival.
Is “lazy” a theme? Because it’s that. 100%
I decided from day one that I wasn’t going to use paths, because I never used them in NL.
And I’m hella OCD and I know for a fact I wouldn’t be satisfied, especially if something didn’t line up properly. I’d just rather not put myself through hours of being on the verge of tears, purely out of frustration. It wouldn’t be worth it.
I originally wanted to have a modern city theme but I caved and turned it into a Japanese city. I think it's pretty over done but I genuinely like it so I suppose I shouldn't let it's popularity stop me from doing it!
I don't know yet. When I played for the first time, I wanted a mythological theme. It stressed me a lot, so I began my island again. After a break (tired of this game, soon an update!) I'm here again and... I don't know what I want to do. I'm only on day two. Let's wait and see.
My theme is basically just a color scheme - pink, white and gray, based on my favorite outfit. I'll eventually have the entire island covered in pink and white hyacinths, but that's going to take quite a while.
