What's your house/room themes?

My house is a wip. I like to keep it all natural and cozy, with tons of plants hanging in walls. The colour scheme is brown with a lot of greenery and some accents of colour in some of the furniture

I don’t plan. I just throw furniture that I think would look good together and the theme comes out of it. My main room has lots of plants and dark wood furniture against a white brick wall. But second floor was going to be a crafts room but now it’s the Blue Room where everything is blue. I only just opened my third room today and right now I’m throwing all the cute stuff in there.

I just fill my rooms with whatever theme pops up into my mind! So far, the rooms aren't very coherent. But my favorite rooms are the mysterious fortune telling room in the back, and the dance club I have down in the basement!

Also, I recently made a second character so I could dress up their house with a regal theme like they're royalty. I mainly did it because I had no idea where else to put fancy real art/gold furniture/ and zodiac items. So I thought I might as well have a whole house for it!

Okey so my house MIGHT be a bit of a mess. Edit: I described my NH house. Sorry if there was any confusion! What I’m planning on doing in my NL house is making a full-on Forest house. There is no escape from the woods for me.

I don't really do themes, I just put things I like in the rooms...?
But uh, I guess these kinda count as themes...
-A sweets room
-A "dreamy" bedroom (It has the Kiki and Lala furniture mostly)
-A basement that's... just... Squid Sisters.

Mine is all zen and nature for all my houses. My town theme is all nature and not so modern.

I have played Festivale pretty extensively and have the whole set of furniture in my main room, now I just sell the extras and get tons of bells for it. I have a side room that I use as an office space. I used to have the upstairs bedroom balloon themed but now it has the cloud flooring and sky wall but with a mix of furniture and downstairs I have a cute little book nook with some instruments

My mayor's house has a cozy cabin theme going on throughout all of its rooms, which include a living room, kitchen, study/office, bathroom, bedroom, and laundry room. My favourite rooms are probably the kitchen, study, and basement. I've completed most of them except the bathroom which is like 2% finished rn.

My secondary character has a magical witch vibe so I'm planning for her to have a purple/green aesthetic with lots of magical, creepy, and spooky furniture items. She's gonna have a sitting room, an observatory, a potions room, a greenhouse, and a basement bedroom.

My town has 3 houses, but I only control 2 due to my brother ahaha. My house (mayor) is pretty much mixed interior. The living room is kinda a mess but I think that might be a popular problem. It has a tv, couch and a fireplace, but everything else is random. My left side room is a library/study, with my desk, bookshelf, 40s pilot mannequin, stair dresser and peculiar oddities to add to the ‘steampunk’ kinda look. My right-side room is a plant and painting room! Its packed full of plants, and in the corner I have a little painting setup. My upstairs room is a cabin themed bedroom because in WW I was obsessed with that theme. The basement is a posing room for my designs. My second house is a 711 store cos I loved 711 is Japan when I visited.

Most of my house is modern style, like I have a gracie room, modern room, sleek, and sanrio. One room which is the basement is a Zelda room and my back room is classic old time style. This is for my main mayor of my main town, too much to list for my other towns when 70% of the rooms to the houses are old classic style or zen.

Most of the furniture in my house is the modern series. I do have a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen and furniture to match those. My upstairs is kind of my game room, there's not much of a theme to it. My basement is also a game room as well. The only room where I can say has a particular theme is the living room, I used furniture that looks antique. But maybe I should think of what could work together, my house seems kind of messy that way.
