What's your favorite part of your town?

I thought it'd be nice to see what part of their town everyone likes the most~
I'm in the middle of landscaping mine so nothing is really done yet but maybe I could also get some inspiration from everyone else. I'm creating a mossy/forest town.
I wish moss could grow on rocks to make a town look more foresty (if that's even a word haha)​

I have this really narrow, forest path that leads up to my mayor's house, originally it was that way from an unfortunate move-in, but I actually really liked how it turned out in the the end.

An honorable mention is a bench surrounded by flowers near the cliff of the waterfall.

I also thought of putting a log bench (haven't unlocked it yet) in the middle of my forest but my villagers just keep pinging me for catchphrases. ​

My favorite part of my main town is probably the stretch at the bottom where most of the villagers' houses are. My town map is honestly terrible unfortunately, because back when I created it, I had just deleted my first New Leaf town because my town was mostly full of villagers I didn't like and I was impatient, so I went with the first town that had some villagers I liked as starting villagers, specifically Ankha and Lucky. By this point, I have all of the villagers I want to live there, all the stores unlocked, and a mostly full catalogue, so I just can't start over with it again.

It's either that or the section where I placed the Fire Pit PWP and surrounded it with a Log Bench up above it and surrounded the Fire Pit with tree stumps as a little place where all the town residents can get together and hang out.

My favorite part of my circus/magic show-themed town would probably be, basically, the eastern half of the map. There's a ton of open space that I'm planning to utilize for the Roost Cafe, the Police Station, and maybe the Campsite. I'm unsure about the Campsite because I have the amiibo cards for the villagers I still need, save for Drago who I need to adopt from someone on here after I move a specific villager out to make room for his house.

My favorite part of my all-bird town would have to be the area around Town Hall. The plaza is right next to the Town Hall and I have a nice looking orchard with all of the various fruits around the plaza. My maps aren't nice enough for QR paths and real intense landscaping like other people do, but I really like how it looks.

I have an area near my cafe that has a flower clock, a flower arch, and a whole bunch of plants that I really enjoy. I also enjoy my home interior, which I have tweaked a lot in recent days.

I love the lighthouse that I put on the southern cliffside so when I'm swimming at night, I can see the beam of light at certain points when I press "up" on the control pad. Plus, my grandpa loves lighthouses so I always think of him when I pass by/see it. (,:

That's a tough question, but I guess my favorite area so far is the area around Mint's house. She lives on a peninsula that connects the east and west sides of town. There's a diagonal wooden bridge spanning the river from the Town Hall to the residential area and Mint's house is the first one as you cross the bridge. The windmill is just to the left of her house and both are surrounded by white, pink, purple, and black flowers. The area is also decorated with peach and pear trees and white azalea bushes spaced out along the path. The wooden bench is set up in front of her house on the other side of the path, facing the river, under the shade of a tree. This is where all of my villagers like to congregate and I often find them sitting on the bench, taking a break and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river as it flows by. It's the perfect place for a nap too apparently, as I often find them asleep on that bench.



This was the first section of my town that I completely landscaped so I'm sort of partial to it. Plus, since my villagers hang out there so often, I can't help but be drawn to it, too.

I have this small area east of my town where there are a couple of buildings and a few public works projects. I like to imagine that it is a town square where everyone can gather. Funnily enough, my villagers hang around there half of the time.

I have a "shopping center" in the western corner of my map. It's still not finished, but it has Re-tail and The Roost adjacent but separated by a pond. Below those 2 buildings, there is a plaza of streetlamps and benches. I like to imagine villagers would go outside to drink their coffee on the bench if weather was good enough.

I have a zen area in the south part of my town (Relocated after a less than ideal plot). I've been growing bamboo around a zen garden and a zen bench and I just love what I've done with it.

Out of all the areas in my town, my favorite area has to be the oldest garden in my town, The Rose Garden (easily have had 100+ amazing conversation sitting on this very bench) and it was the beginning of my landscaping style along with the landscaping around my house! I also love my hot spring area secluded in the Great Cedar Forest in my town (pictures below [that are dated] in order of mention)!

My favorite part in my town is everywhere, because I love it.
But if I had to choose one, it would be around where the Cafe is. Because it just looks so lively there.

my favorite part of my town would be around my plaza solely because of the landscaping. My plaza is in the middle of my town and I have bushes and trees surrounding the plaza giving it an enclosed look.

Before I started to start over in my main town, I loved the areas around my town tree and little picnic area by the up-hill path to the new campsite. Now in my second town (as everything isn't finished yet), I love the area around the cafe. Before Maple decided to park there, there was an area next to the cafe with four stumps by trees to sit at as well <3

I really haven't developed my town a lot on its own. I like decorating my house and chatting with villagers and fishing/hunting bugs more. I think that I should probably work on the looks of my town, but I really don't like ground in the winter. Everything looks dead and it doesn't motivate me to breed flowers or landscape much.
