First off, I want to wish a happy 2008 to all. The beginning of this year will be big for Nintendo with two HUGE games coming out in the 1st half of the season. Of course, these two games are Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii. I think just about everyone can agree with me in that this will be the year of the online games.

Anyways, I got Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and am really exciting about it. I love it. In fact, I love the whole series! There really isnt another Nintendo series that every game available I make sure to get. Hand held, console, whatever! I get it in my collection and enjoy every minute of it.

What series/franchise does that for you?

Other then the obvious franchise I enjoy playing Metroid and Mario games. I get most of the games for these franchises.

So... basically the big three =o

Anyway... my favorites: Animal Crossing, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Pikmin

Thanks Propaganda, and a happy New Year to you too!

^_^ And to answer your question, my favorite franchise would have to be Zelda hands down. My other favorites would definitely be Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros for sure. And I do agree with you that thus far, the year of 2008 is looking like the year of online games. I'm just hoping Nintendo will improve on their online services, which they slowly seem to be doing.

Well for me my favorite franchises are the following...

1. Super Mario. - Wow, I bet you didn't see that coming

:P
2. Banjo-Kazooie - Banjo-Kazooie was the first video game I played. I'm somewhat upset however that 3 isn't coming to the Wii

:(
3. The Legend of Zelda - I have just recently started getting into this franchise because of Twilight Princess.
4. Mario Kart - What can I say? Mario Kart is pretty fun
5. Donkey Kong - Kind of
6. Mario and Luigi Series
7. Super Smash Bros. - Looking forward to Brawl

Pikmin on the Wii would be just fantastic. Somehow it worked on the GC but with the Wii, point and click enhances the game.

Too bad there are no plans for it.

Are you sure? Seeing how popular Pikmin was on Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo is probably developing Pikmin 3 now.

There is no announcement of it. Not even a hint.

Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Mario RPGs, and Smash Bros are must-buys for me.
I like Mario Kart, Game and Watch Gallery, Sonic, and Animal Crossing.
I don't mind Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Tony Hawk, Metroid, and Kirby in small doses.

My favorite? Considering all, it's probably Zelda.

I'm a fan of all of Nintendo's Franchises, but I like some third party titles, like: Resident Evil, Castevania, Metal Slug.......that's it?

1. Mario
2. Smash Bros
3. Kirby

1. Does Mario need any explanation?
2. Nothing beats the hectic battles of SSB, and I'm a multiplayer kind of guy.
3. Pudgy, pink, and hungry. Kirby brings awesome platforming to the plate. And he was created by Sakurai.

Zelda, Mario, and Grand Theft Auto (first great line I played outside a Nintendo system).
